Ideas for Unique Events

There has been talk about what would be a unique and inventive event. I have my ideas, but I'm also interested in what people would suggest as 'unique'. These are the kinda events that would attract attention, attract boons for those who care etc.

My suggestion: Paizo Con/Gen Con Caravans.

Example: PaizoCon Pilgrimage 2013 Group of players start in Atlanta, GA. Pilgrims can join and drop out as needed, and take turns GMing. We run 2-5 games a night w/local community wherever we are. Boons a possibility at every table. Itinerary would be something like this:

Day 1: Drive from Atlanta to Indianapolis arriving around 4PM. 6-10 Game in Store in Indy where we have preset up a gaming 'event'.
Day 2: Drive to N. Michigan wherever Dan Luckett can set us up. Arrive around 4 PM. 6-10 Game 'event'.
Day 3: Drive to Iowa City, Iowa. Game 'event' from 6-10.
Day 4: Drive to somewhere in W. Nebraska. Since nobody lives in Western Nebraska, it is an ideal night off.
Day 5: Drive to Denver. Event at Enchanted Grounds from 6-10.
Day 6: Drive to Boise, Idaho. Event 6-10.
Day 7: Arrival in Redmond Wa. Go to Paizo Con.

Some detours could take place. For example, the Pilgramage could split one night. For example, one group could leave Boston, stay a night in Buffalo, meet the Atlanta group in Indy.

Trip to Gen Con would start in Redmond, Wa.

Kerney, you have been iching for a roadtrip for quite sometime now. I recommend that the vehicle have one of those wraps put on it that clearly shows that it is a PFS adventure wagon. It would be cool. Maybe we just pass some type of gaming torch from location to location? A special Olympic's style scenario! Start a half dozen copies on the East Coast and they make their way West over a few weeks time. Each group of players signs the copy they played. The copy that gets the most players through it gets a small item to influence in the overall plot for the upcoming season. Count me in.

That is a very good idea. I guess another part of this are suggestions to spread opportunities, whether it be for race boons or just the chance to play with some of the top GMs, like you. I'm looking for ideas to spread the PFS love.

And if we can get Paizo to flit the bill (though I wouldn't count on it) so much the better. The Olympic style torch relay is a cool idea in and of itself.
