Map of the Fishery

Fishery Room Descriptions:
A2 - Loading Dock - A 15-foot wide loading dock abuts the side of the building here.

A1 - Forge On the shore nearby is Bosch's makeshift smithy. He's got Kester working on it from time to time.

A2 - Sewer Entrance - An iron door set into the hillside leads into Korvosa's sewer system.

A4 - Front Room - A single desk sits in this room, a chair pushed up against the far side

A5 - Barracks - a pair of bunkbeds sit against the far wall of this room to either side of a window.

A6 - Office - A wooden desk sits in one corner, a cabinet in the other

A7 - Upper Workfloor - Front room/kitchen/dining area

A8 - Fishery Floor - The floor here is only five feet above the river below. An open bay to the south allows direct access to the sloppy, muddy water. Storage and additional sleeping space, Bosch would be more than happy to stay here with his daughter and dog. There is probably room to spare. It could later be divided into several smaller private rooms.

A9 - Kraken's Folly - The deck of this ancient barge is worn. The barge is lashed tight to the pilings that support the fishery and nearby boardwalk.

A10 - Aft Cabin - this small cabin contains a narrow flight of stairs leading into the ship's hold

A11 - Ship's Hold - Now dry and empty, this musty hold contains a secret door leads out to the boardwalk beneath the fishery

A12 - Tessa's workshop - A narrow space exists under the fishery, with about four feet of room between the floor of the building above and the languid river water below. A wooden walkway floats on the river surface, leading from the barge to a wooden door in an understructure beneath the landbound part of the fishery. As an artisan's workshop, it working in this room counts masterwork tools for a spellcraft check for creating magic items and researching spells.

A13 - Underfishery - Several pilings emerge from the water to support the roof. Two five-foot walkways cross the hole's edge to the other side of the chamber. Tessa covered the hole with glass to make a glass-bottomed room.

A14 - Tessa's Bedroom - A sturdy floor-to-ceiling oak bookshelf that runs the length of the room (and covers the exterior window), a gnome-sized dresser, and a comfortable reading desk. A cheap painting of a generic mountain waterfall and cozy wall tapestries complete the decor.

  • Campaign Overview:
Korvosa, the Jewel of Varisia, has long sparkled on Varisia’s southern shore. Established 300 years ago by Cheliax at the height of that empire’s expansion, the city now commands its own destiny. A line of Korvosan kings and queens emerged to rule the city, establishing an infamous seat power—the Crimson Throne. Rulers have sat upon the Crimson Throne for more than a century, and the city has flourished. Yet the monarchy always seems on the brink of disaster. The Crimson Throne is not a prize to be won—it is a curse. No monarch of Korvosa has died of old age, and none have produced an heir while ruling. Even though King Eodred II controls Korvosa more fully than any previous monarch, that control remains tenuous, and many secretly count the days until their latest king falls to what they call the Curse of the Crimson Throne.
