Houserules:
After a shadowrun, during your downtime, you have the option to
A: Work for the Man, where you do assorted jobs for the powerful and rich (relatively speaking, of course) - this allows you to exchange up to 5 Karma for ¥2000 per Karma, and consumes 1 week of downtime during a month.
B: Work for the People, where you do "charity" work, helping out the downtrodden and SINless, pitching in where you can to assist the poor and powerless (relatively speaking). This allows you to exchange ¥2000 for 1 Karma, up to ¥10,000 for 5 Karma, and consumes 1 week of downtime during a month.
