I'm having the darnedest time leveling. Can't decide which direction to go. Curious question, Mini: Have you seen the Weapon Master's Handbook, and if so, would the modified weapon training that a polearm fighter count as weapon training for the purposes of feats?

Don't know if anyone's interested but I'm a player down in another game I'm GM'ing of Mummy's Mask - they just hit Book 3 and we lost one of our players into the ether I'm afraid.
It's currently a barbarian/ranger, a cleric and an occultist (replacing a rogue who inexplicably put on a cursed item and became DM property) wandering around Tephu trying to find out more information to help their friend the rogue.
You do have to put up with Mini as a living shadow trying to rescue his person from a cursed artifact. I'm not going to lie - this is not the most serious game on the board.
I'll be out of town 'til Monday. In the meantime, Tarinhil will keep coming up with the pros and cons of various suggestions without actually picking an option -- the high int, reduced wis sort of thing he's good at when mutated.

Once Elorin comes to he will recognize domination. So if he doesn't have a dispel prepped, then basically you are gonna have to catch that thing and kill it to free him. :(

Beyond the nasty failing of saves, the fact that of all of us "act normally" (which should happen 1 time in 4) came up exactly once -- which is also the opposite of helpful.
As a head's up -- I'll be out of town in a place where I'm not expecting to have any internet access from Friday, Sept 2 until Saturday the 10 (and will likely be unpacking and the like, such that Monday the 12th is probably the safest estimate of when I'll be able to catch up and post).
I'll still be here to play this week, but given the chaos of packing, I wanted to make sure I posted a warning of my absence while I can (though I will try to post a reminder before I go..)
While I'm gone, please feel free to bot Tarinhil as needed. False Life every morning, mutagen and heroism (heightened, via Alchemical Allocation) at first thought of danger, and use explosive fire bombs to blast baddies into ash (remembering dispelling bombs, tanglefoot bombs and force bombs as needed).
