Moving to the doorway just inside 5' inside if able to see a goblin firing an arrow.

I'm just pointing out that Scipio is a dex-based martial, and in the future, Reduce Person is the better option. If reach was the goal, though, I apologise. :)

Save vs Enlarge:
Fortitude: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (5) + 4 = 9

Scipio turns to look at the rapidly decreasing in size tiefling, does an awkward face and then turns to look at the battlefield once again.


Sorry just tend to think of Enlarge person as a buff, the reach.

The first goblin looks back at Sarvis and fires his shortbow. He hits Sarvis for 4 damage.

Scipio charges the goblin hit by Sarvis ( or another one, in case this one can't be reached) with his trident , trying to draw their attention from the bystanders. If possible, he will position himself so that they cannot fire or move without provoking AoOs.

Scipio shouts "Stand behind me!" as the enlarged fighter thunderously charges at the goblins.
Charge Attack: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (10) + 7 = 17
damage: 2d6 + 1 ⇒ (2, 3) + 1 = 6


The goblin screams before falling over. He's dead.

A map, even if it is a simple google docs spreadsheet type, would be helpful. Particularly when dealing with spells like color spray.

Calathes pokes his head out the door and targets one of the goblins with an acid splash.

Not sure whos turn it is, or where anything is, and not being able to see everyone on the map is throwing me off. I dont even know if anything is in reach or who is actually engaged.

The sounds of battle finally snap Arngrim from his daze and ruminations. Drawing his sword, he runs to help his new companions.

Assuming anything is in reach..
Attack: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (8) + 4 = 12
Damage: 1d8 + 3 ⇒ (8) + 3 = 11

There is a calm for the party to collect themselves.

You see people start to flood the chaotic market again in an attempt to gather the belongings the goblins tried to steal.

Does anyone have any sort of healing? Apparently I was hit by a goblin and it appears worse then I thought it was in the heat of combat. What do you suppose prompted such an attack?"

Looking out and around the corpses for any sign of what enticed the goblins or if they appear to have been paid for this attack.


As the players look around though the see goblins running through the rest of Sandpoint off on the side streets.

Ranna mutters a quick chant to the fire and places her hands on Sarvis's chest, where the arrow broke off.

CLW: 1d8 + 1 ⇒ (6) + 1 = 7

As his wounds start to bind, she flushes a little and mutters "Apologies, but you asked for healing." As she finishes, she sees goblins dart down a side street. "There seem to be more of them. Should we...Should we do something? I think we should do something." She hustles off, following the fresh goblins.

My build's going to get a lot better at healing come third level, but until then, try not to get hit too much, I guess.

Woah, this feel weeird...

"Wait for me, milady!" says Scipio, looking at the small street and trotting his enlarged body after Ranna.

"Come, comrades, glorious combat in defense of Sandpoint awaits!", shouts Scipio in a rallying cry.

If the goblins are using dogslicers or horsechoppers, Scipio will pick one up along the way. For research purposes.

Sarvis heads off with the others, arrow notched, avoiding melee combat and staying with the enlarged Scipio.
"Keep on the look out and lets help end this invasion of critters!

@DM - As a suggestion, it may help the flow of the game if you roll initiative for the group and monsters all at once.

Does anyone in our party benefit from Enlarge Person or is everyone dex based?

I certaintly don't benefit as much from Enlarge as a Str-based character would, but Reach is useful and a d8 weapon, such as my trident, benefits immensely as well.

Arngrim is strength based.. I don't see why enlarge would be a bad thing.. I just don't know what mods to make
