The 6HP channel did not occur, I wasn't aware we were still in combat. I'll use it now. I'll edit HP accordingly

Hajar raises his holy symbol with his left hand and channels the power of his goddess. Channel: 2d6 ⇒ (5, 1) = 6

Khayal delays until after the large Gnoll.

Paige breaths deep as she soaks in the healing channel's energy. The Paladin is getting stronger! she thinks to herself...as her lightening strikes the monster again upon her command. 3d6 ⇒ (5, 5, 3) = 13 DC17 ref for half. the spell says duration 1 min/level. Is that MY level? Or the spell's level?

Your caster level. You also only get your caster level in bolts. Still a decent amount for one spell.

(Your level, Paige, which makes the call lightning (Druid 3) spell one of your more powerful spells, at least until something with Resistance or Immunity to electricity comes along.)

Bartan moves up to just within range of a card throw, casts a spell, and tosses a card at the evil giant gnolly-gnoll.

Hajar heals, Khayal suspiciously waits, and Bartan throws yet another playing card - which bounces off the large gnoll's breastplate without incident. The gnoll looks down at his armor as if to say "Was that supposed to do something?"

The gnoll roars, his arms outstretched, greataxe held upright in one hand, and the hairs on his arms and shoulders stand up, the beast-man's eyes turning red. He stepped forward, Paige's lightning bolt giving him pause.

Reflex save DC 17: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (7) + 1 = 8
But the gnoll laughs, and speaks in Common, "You'll have to do better than that, puny humans!"

Paige's lightning bolt hit the beast-man as well. Khayal hit better with his double blades, scoring multiple hits. Hajar missed, but his words made the over-sized gnoll take note.

"Oho! A Day-Lily in the House of the Beast! Go back home, Day-Lily - the desert will wilt your kind here! Goreshed will show you! Grraaa!"

The greataxe blade cut through Hajar's shoulder and lower face, the metal sizzling as it scored an ugly black mark across the paladin's features. After hitting Hajar, the gnoll kept going, hitting Yazi next to him!

The gigantic gnoll jumped back (5 feet), and tightened his grip on his double-bladed greataxe, flexing his muscles. In response, his many cuts and wounds started to close up, stanching the bleeding.

Seeing the nasty wound caused on Hajar's flesh, Khayal finds himself very angry.

Bartan withdraws another frosty card from his deck, charging it up with a strange spell that he has never cast before. The air around the card seems to coalesce into a ghostly-looking form of a small anchor. He then closes his eyes for a brief moment to calm himself, then opens his eyes and concentrates on the huge gnoll before hurling the card at him.

Dangit! On the off chance that it hits him, he will be skewered by a Large-size anchor of force, which sticks out of him on both sides and prevents him from moving through others' squares as easily. Plus it looks silly. LOL

Hajar grunts and returns the attack Tempest: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (10) + 9 = 19 Damage: 2d4 + 14 + 1d6 ⇒ (3, 2) + 14 + (1) = 20

Paige stomps the floor again. A pouty weak little stomp, but the earth underneath the Gnolls feat respond with a nasty rumbling...

Paige watches to see if the creature will fall, preparing a witty comment if he does!

Khayal lands a few blows, and Hajar hit, Tempest going through the gnoll's breastplate. The gnoll laughs, and begins a chanting song.

"I WENT TO KELMARANE,
WHERE ALL THE KIDDIES SHOP!
I TOOK OUT MY GREATAXE,
AND I BEGAN TO CHOP!"

The last word came out as another roar, visibly moving the air, at the humans. (5-foot step sideways)

Khayal nearly falls from the blow, but manages to stave off the fear without much issue.

I'm literally on the edge of my seat about thunderstomp. Even if he's got 20 str and 20 dex and is considered Large, he's gonna have to roll like a 7 i think...

Paige stoically buffers through the Carrion King's roar, and makes the ground ripple towards him in response, (CMD=10+7+10-1+1+2+1=30-Cleave(2), I knew there was a catch) and the big gnoll is knocked prone. Bartan's playing card hit the gnoll's back, and a transparent ship's anchor appeared in the beast-man's body with a deep ringing sound.

Before the giant gnoll could get up, Yazi was skewering him with her greatsword.

"Aaah! Puny humans! Don't think that you have won...the Rough Beast will rise again...I have foreseen it...ugggghhh."

And the Carrion King makes one feeble attempt to snap at Yazi's heels and dies with a gurgle.

(Out of melee...for now.)

"Yeah, yeah, woof woof to you too cutie," Yazi coughs out before slumping against her sword while it stays impaled in the large gnoll's corpse, her eyes blank and listless.

Hajar struggles through pain to cast Stabilize on Yazi.

Foul vermin! Your death is a thousand victories for the Dawnflower! and then Hajar looks around to his wounded allies We should be away, soon. We cannot withstand another attack!

Her lifeblood no longer leaving her Yazi instinctively and contently curls around her sword on top of the Gnoll.

Dripping with his own blood, Khayal looks through the carrion kings gear.

Groggily coming to after being poked by Paige Yazi sits up, exhausted and worn out, looking around at the carnage they've caused before back down at the gnoll, giving his corpse an affectionate pat. "Mmmm, comfy."

Resting just a moment more on her impromptu bedding she reaches over and picks up the axe, looking it up and down the same way she does her other weapons. And her partners.

Khayal gathers what he can, wrapping it up in the Gnoll's shirt.

Bartan, seeing Yazi cuddling with the corpse of the giant gnoll, thinks to himself perhaps I must rethink my own cuddling with that one...

He then tries to get a good look at where the laughing came from.
Perception: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (8) + 6 = 14

Wands are at minimum caster level, which means only 1d8+1 per use

Hajar says I am eager to leave this cursed place. But if you wish to clear the rot from the canker I will follow you.

We need to hole up and rest though...we are very very very weak.

The question is, is it hydra or snake? We have cut off the head. Let's make sure no other grows in its place. But yes rest for the night may be good.
