Jules readies herself and waits to see what happens.

Chandler enchants his quiver and readies for trouble.

Torsk also readies for trouble, casting a spell of shielding.

The party hears a low whistle come form the fog, then a grunt as a halfing with a handlebar mustache comes hurtling out of the cloud, bellowing! He heads straight for Braxton!

Charge Attack vs Braxton FF: 1d20 + 5 + 2 - 1 ⇒ (14) + 5 + 2 - 1 = 20
Damage: 1d10 + 4 + 2 ⇒ (1) + 4 + 2 = 7

The halfling leaps in the air and brings his greataxe down, nearly cleaving off Braxton's arm!

The party hears some chanting and sees the form of the other man creep otu of the fog a bit.

Surprised and heavily wounded by the halfling, Braxton lashes back with shield and sap.

Shield Bash: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (5) + 2 = 7
Sap: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (14) + 2 = 16
Sap Non-lethal damage: 1d6 + 1 ⇒ (1) + 1 = 2
Intimidate from Enforcer: 1d20 + 7 + 4 ⇒ (3) + 7 + 4 = 14 (bonus from being larger size than target)

I guess when you take a massive cut from a greataxe and respond with a dink from a sap, you just aren't that scary. Still might be enough though.

Turk brought up a good point to me. The halfling couldn't have charge out of the fog, as he did not have line of sight. Unfortunately, he still would have hit Braxton's FF AC.

Braxton reels from the halfling's blow, then returns the attack, hitting the halfling with his sap and shaking up the little man a little bit!

A woman in the fog cackles madly and you hear movement, but see nothing.

Torsk, will assess the situation, wondering what is going on in the mist
but understands that going in blind could be a very bad idea. He chants some arcane words, and points his palm at the halfling. After mere seconds, the moisture in the air coalesces in his palm, and then streaks forward toward the intended target. Torsk's aim is off however, trying to correct for the small target using his his friends for cover. The ball shatters off the wall, spraying the garbage with water crystals.

Not sure if it matters, but you rolled a d202, instead of a d20 for that attack roll. Of course, if all you got was an 8 on a d202, then your d20 probably would have missed! :)
