Retracing your steps through the city, you get a taste of different opinions on the Aspis.

Novaria comments that “The Consortium has been exploiting the people and the lands of the expanse for too long. We at House Cartahegn oppose their continued expansion and seek to rein in their excesses.”

Dunkel suggested talking to the innkeeper. His comments are that "the Consortium is the best thing that ever happened to this place. This used to just be a pirate hideaway, now it’s the center for trade in the region!

D'lack and Thorn each speak to general passers-by. The Bonuwat man D'lack speaks to denounces the Consortium, accusing them of, strangling our nation and our people, robbing us of our culture and selling it piece by piece to rich people in the north. If I didn’t need their money to feed my family, I’d have nothing to do with them.”

The Bekyar man Thorn meets is entirely more positive. "“They keep money and stable work owing through the area. I’ve never been able to eat as well as I have since I started working for them.”

Exiting Bloodcove is relatively easy, but less than a mile from the city the road leads to a narrow bridge crossing a small tributary of the Vanji River. On the other side of the bridge stands the Consortium agent, Na’alu, accompanied by a strange, artificial looking humanoid, and a half-orc man. “I’ll be taking those documents back now.” he says smugly, “My employer would very much like to know their contents.”

    Knowledge on the 'artificial-looking' humanoid?

    Were they even looking for a fight? Sense Motive: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (4) + 8 = 12. Too late now I suppose.

Doubtful scowls as the Aspis agent lay in wait for them on the way out of town. He was of course expecting all of it, and had mentioned it as they left (that and half a dozen other possible calamities)

(insert comment about even broken clocks being right twice a day)

As Beorin tosses a small protective blessing on him, he frowns, then suddenly rushes forward towards their new adversaries. He heads straight towards the half-orc, then leaps and jumps over top of him, past the others, to land on the far side!

    Acrobatics to jump: 1d20 + 21 ⇒ (9) + 21 = 30 (edit: Will clear 7 feet, should get me over a medium critter!)

"Had enough of you Aspis a*+$%!#s." He growls. "Go back to your crappy town."

He then lashes out with one heavily-booted foot, aiming for a sensitive spot.

OK, use a ki point to add +4 to AC for the round, then 40' of movement, attempting to jump over top of the half-orc to land on the far side, then unarmed strike Na'alu with stunning fist.
    Cause jumping around looks awsome!

Nope, that's a hit. On the second one though, Thorn would use:
Absorb Blow: As an immediate action, whenever you take hit point damage from a single source (such as a dragon’s breath, a spell, or a weapon), you can expend one use of mythic power to reduce the damage you take from that source by 15 points (to a minimum of 0 points of damage taken). If you have another ability or effect that reduces damage (such as protection from energy), reduce the damage with the absorb blow ability before applying any other damage-reducing effects. For every 10 points of damage that this ability prevents, for 1 minute you gain DR 1/epic and 5 points of resistance against acid, cold, electricity, fire, and sonic damage. The DR and resistances stack with any other DR and resistances that you have.

So, only if the GM allows, and I totally wouldn't begrudge him if he did, I *do* have the boon from part 3. (Honestly I never even looked at it as I was just flipping through chronicles in order and stopped when I thought I found one I thought would save me. Thorn would definitely use up that boon on dodge. He'd use it on the confirmation roll, but if not allowed, he'd use it on the second swing. Again, only if the GM allows.

Dunkel grunts as he takes a solid hit, wheezing even as Beorin's divinity mends some of it.

    65-26+7=46hp.

Dunkel, realizing any single swing could be his end, wisely steps back and swiftly reads a scroll.

You've got +13 AC compared to Dunkel, I think we can risk it!

    Silver Crusade

I'll allow it, especially because it is basically what you were trying to do anyway (use a mythic boon to negate damage).

    Sky Key Timey-Wimey Bubble

The half-orc's axe narrowly misses Thorn's jugular, leaving him wounded but still alive.

Doubtful ties up the spellcaster, but Wyatt and D'lack both miss their targets.
    Thorn may act

Thank you sir! +! for the Dr. Who YEar of the Sky Key Mash up. So how much damage did he take?
    Thorn withdraws.

The rogue bloodied and nearly dead, barely knows what's going on.

    Silver Crusade

The half-orc continues his assault, but can't hit the overly dextrous dwarf.

One of Wyatt's arrows does wound the orc, though,

Doubtful, if you can get him grappled this will be pretty much over

But I don't like grappling! But you gave the guy Stoneskin!

    Ooo... how about this...

Doubtful scowls at the last active enemy as he steps around him.

"All sorts a parasites in these Mwangi rivers." He says dolefully, as he lines up a kick an tries to boot him over the railing into the river.

5' step to line him up, use Ki point for AC, then Bull Rush (will provoke an AoO).
Seems like I should be able to attach a stunning fist to this.. but alas.

    Bull Rush!: 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (20) + 10 = 30

Hopefully he has heavy armor and sinks like a stone!

Dunkel, feeling emboldened by the protection of his many images, steps back in while brandishing his waraxe with newfound confidence.

    Combat over.

Doubtful glowers into the water, waiting to see the man's head pop up.

"He probably regrets the armor now." He offers, before going over and making sure the tied up Aspis agent is gagged secure.

    "Now what about this a!@++@~?"
