Still reeling from the magical feedback used against her and with her magical ward dispelled, the priestess is almost helpless and Shinkeer and Erin lay into her with spell and blades. With a choking gasp she crumbles to the ground dead. Seeing their leader slain, the thugs drops their weapons and bolt for the exit.

With the danger gone, the party is able to take their time and search the ritual area. Among the treasure are documents confirming the Lissalan's purpose in Kaer Maga and the process involved in making the Sigil Wafers. In addition, the party finds a cache of finished wafers in the bedroom to the east.

With the cult sussed out and largely destroyed, it's clear their presence in Kaer Maga is no longer a threat. All that remains is what's to be done with the Sigil Wafers...

Ingesting a Sigil Water fills you with power and grants a +2 profane bonus to one ability score of your choice for 1 year. Doing so consumes the portion of someone's soul, scarring them permanently. Ingesting a sigil wafer is an evil act that shifts your alignment one step toward evil unless you receive the benefits of an atonement spell. If such an alignment shift would result in an evil alignment, you may no longer play the character in the Pathfinder Society Organized Play campaign.

Amira will eat her own soul wafer (since that hurts literally nobody as far as she can tell), though will not ingest any additional Stat Crackers; such would be theft of soul, and Amira will not be a life brigand.

"We should get these sorted out at the bank before either of the warring monk factions decide to stroll in here and start a rumble."

Eating your own soul wafer is legit and hurts nobody.

Shin can't eat any wafer but his own.

"Is there any way to match the wafers with their former owners?" Shin asks as he looks at the menacing woman and rifles through her belongings.

Daxter looked around at the room with disgust. These 'people' gave away a piece of their own souls willingly for drugs of all things. All the while Daxter was fighting the good fight against these Lissalans, saving the world in the process. Nom nom.

"These worth-nothings gave these up freely. They don't deserve them back." Daxter says as he ingests one, a dark red glow enveloping him as he does so. Atonement #2 for me.

Seeing Daxter eat another wafer, Shin hesitates, glancing guiltily at Amira. He nonchalantly eats a wafer.

This is actually a really tough decision. Guess I will leave it to the dice, like everything else.
    Will 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (3) + 9 = 12

Erin is unnaturally quiet for once. Subject to a deep moral quandary and losing out to greed, she attempts to stealthily nab one of the wafers.

    Strength for the ability.

In the days to come, those whose souls weren't consumed by the party eventually come forward to thank them for their efforts in saving them and stopping the threat posed by the lethe house and the sinister cult running it. Word quickly spreads through the Kaer Maga underground about the hidden menace and the City of Strangers is left more aware of the tactics the Lissalan's use to achieve their ends. Unfortunately, the records recovered from the lethe house gave no mention of what the cult had planned next but with the sigil wafers confiscated, there's no doubt that the other cells across Varisia will have to work hard to make up for what was lost.

Amira takes time to check to see if Bol's sources are legitimate. If so, he'll bring him on to train Toshi in fighting in payment for "Between Session Infinite Remove Curses."

    Djob Heal, gre mar bonus: 1d20 + 18 ⇒ (17) + 18 = 35

So, what; Bol used something generic and not identified, presumably like a longsword or something? Also note that Amira can cast a LN atonement, though will not front any of the charity 3k material component costs.

    Longsword is appropriate.

Unless Amira is willing to buy the components herself, folks are going to be on their own for atonements.
