Nicea collapses in a heap, scythe clattering to the floor.

Samara takes another stab at the goblin with her rapier, furrowing her eyebrows at the creature.

Attack: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (11) + 4 = 15

Damieka becomes even more enraged with her bad shooting but still shoots again.

1d20 + 6 ⇒ (9) + 6 = 151d8 ⇒ 5

Eye wide in shock as Nicea falls; "NNNOoooooooo. I don't care if you are doing it for love. Don't hurt my friend! I'll send your b~$#* of a girl-friend you remains."

She calls out aghast and using language she would never use, except for the exceptional circumstances. "Rise Nicea, by the Holy Guidance of Sivanah - let slip the illusions of injury and pain come back to us!"

Channel: 1d6 ⇒ 5 Selective Channel Heal, excluding Tsuto, and ALL Goblins.

"Nicea! Davben growls at Tsuto and lashes out hoping to take him down quickly, and tend to Nicea.

Silva lets out another bellow at Tsuto, trying his best to remain calm despite his felled ally.

• Goblin 1 spins around 180 degrees and slices at Samara

• Tsuto exchanges Martial Blows with Davben.

Round 8 Begins Now

"Stay still..." She stabs the goblin again.

If Nicea stands or is in position to flank the goblin, then Samara sneak attacks.

Attack: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (19) + 4 = 23 +2 if flanking.
Damage: 1d6 + 1d6 ⇒ (5) + (4) = 9
HP: 8/8

Crit Chance: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (9) + 4 = 13

Nicea wakes to combat raging around her and a little goblin barfing all too close. She grabs her scythe and tries to defend herself where she lies, while harassing the enemies near her with it.

Move to retrieve scythe. Standard to take total defense action, giving +4 to AC to balance -4 vs melee for prone condition. She threatens so gives flanking bonuses to Samara and Davben. Not rising = no provoking AoO.

Seeing that Nicea is moving once more, a faint smile crosses her face. 'It's still life or death situation, don't celebrate yet. That vicious man could still try to kill her.'

Rubbing away the tears from a cheek she raises her hand and calls forth once more her patrons healing charms.

Channel: 1d6 ⇒ 5 Selective Channel Heal; Ignoring Tsuto & Goblins.

Davben seeing Nicea moving again is quite relieved, unfortunately he's also somewhat distracted, that woman had a strange effect on him, he wasn't sure if that was good or not. At the moment it didn't seem to be helping he blames it for his swings getting wider.

Damn it, I'm all out of spells! Silva realizes, gritting his teeth in frustration. And it doesn't look like I'm gonna get a stab in. Alright, that leaves me with one other option... I could at least distract him.

Stepping out of the room, Silva looks to Tsuto and - putting on the ugliest face he could muster - lets out a magic-less bellow. For added effect, he waves the heavy lucerne hammer and shining coin over his head.

"RAWGRHHHHHH!"

Intimidate: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (17) + 4 = 21

3 rounds remaining on dancing lights.

• Nicea does angry things.

• Goblin 1 continues its assault on Samara.

  Attack: 1d20 + 2 - 2 ⇒ (14) + 2 - 2 = 14 Miss

• Silva successfully Intimidates Tusto.

• Samara turns Goblin 1 into confetti.

• Tsuto spins around and kicks Nicea while shes down

  Unarmed Strike: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (16) + 5 = 21 Hit

  Damage: 1d6 + 1 ⇒ (1) + 1 = 2

  He then attempts to flee being sure to step on Nicea in the process

  Tsuto moves to F-5

• Zara Channels Energy healing everybody except Damieka and Silva.

• Davben moves to G-5 and attacks Tsuto

• Damieka holds her ground.

Round 9 Begins Now!

Zara sees Tsuto come face-to-face with her. A cold sweat drips down her spine and her knees go weak; "Surrender." she says feebly. She drops Samara's bow upon the floor and grips the hem of the scarf in her other hand. Scared she waits a couple of heart-beats then moves at him. Slashing with the scarf.

Scarf Attack: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (4) + 3 = 7 - Moving towards him as necessary, charging if able.
Damage: 1d6 ⇒ 1

"Rovagug devour your soul slowly, you festering boil on the ass of Sandpoint!" Nicea rages, springing to her feet and seeing Tsuto spring out of reach past Davben, "Stop him, Zara! Damieka, get between him and the stairs! I'll gut myself with a fish knife if this bastard gets away!" She sprints off towards the stairs, assuming Damieka came that way.

Move: rise from prone. Move: to H10.

Samara looks down at the fallen goblin, and then peers out the door to see that Tsuto has moved. She attempts to follow suit.

Acrobatics: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (17) + 8 = 25

She attempts to stab Tsuto, mumbling, "Stabbing you is a thing that I would like to do..."

Sneak attack!
Attack: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (1) + 4 = 5 +2 if flanking with Davben
Damage: 1d6 + 1d6 ⇒ (1) + (4) = 5

"She's alive alright," Silva mutters with a smirk as he steps out of the room. Hearing Nicea's order, he sends his lights down towards Zara.

Move to H-9. Send dancing lights to C-5. 2 rounds remaining on them.

"Don't think I'm going to let you get away after you hurt Nicea. Even kicking her when she's down!" There were probably better reasons to not let him get away, but maybe not as far as Davben was concerned. He concentrates on his attack and aims for a vital area hoping to temporarily disable Tsuto and make sure he doesn't get away.

Stunning Fist: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (14) + 3 = 17 +2 if flanking
Damage: 1d6 + 3 ⇒ (6) + 3 = 9 DC 13 Fort or stunned 1 Round

By this time Damieka is frustrated with her abililties and runs down the hall to where Davben is in G5 (if two can be in the same space) and shoots.

If two cannot be in the same space she will grapple Tsuto in an act of pure rage from him working with goblins, him hurting Nicea so badly and the whole debacle.

Shot if can step in spot with Davben: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (9) + 6 = 151d8 ⇒ 8

Grapple if cannot be in spot with Davben: 1d20 + 3 - 4 ⇒ (14) + 3 - 4 = 131d3 + 2 ⇒ (3) + 2 = 5

I hope I did grapple right. I read it at Grapple and I hope I understood it properly. Either way gah to the freaking dice.

• Nicea gets to her feet and darts to H-10.

• Silva moves the Dancing Lights then rallies behind Nicea.

• Samara moves at full speed to E-5. She fails her Acrobatics Check and provokes an attack of opportunity.

  Unarmed Strike: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (15) + 5 = 20 Hit

  Damage: 1d6 + 1 ⇒ (1) + 1 = 2

  Samara swings at Tsuto, misses, and possibly fumbles.

  Samara Dex Check for Fumble: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (3) + 4 = 7 FAIL

  Tsuto shoves Samara through the open door at F-4. Technically you should have stayed behind Tsuto but Davben is standing there...

• Zara is pushed out of the way as Tsuto moves past her. She collects herself and then uses a charge attack, jumping on top of the sacks to get high ground on Tsuto, but misses.

• Davben rushes 30 feet to C-7 and strikes Tsuto.

  Tsuto is not looking so good....

  Tsuto Fort Save: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (16) + 4 = 20 Pass

• Damieka runs up the hall to block the staircase! She takes a total defensive action and braces for impact.

I changed your action because it would be pointless having you chase Tsuto all the way down the hall.

Round 10 Begins Now!

Damieka pulls out her scimitar, dropping her bow beside her and if Tsuto tries to get past her, or even gets to that point, she will attack with it. If not she will wait.

Attack if attempt at the stairs: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (10) + 3 = 131d6 + 2 ⇒ (3) + 2 = 5

Hopefully he does not get a chance to do this because Damieka is having a cruddy day.

Nicea hustles after Damieka and, spotting Davben chasing Tsuto, dashes to intercept, threatening with her scythe. "Surrender, scum!" she growls, the need for a double move to arrive there making her seem unwontedly merciful.

Double move to C9.

Zara jumps down from the crates and rushes off after Tsuto. Though she doesn't like harming anyone from his skills and brutality of Nicea, Zara realises that she has to put him on the floor. And she cannot do that by tripping him up.

She runs sliding past Damieka and pursuing the horrid Kaijutsu brother.

Some of what Zara would like to do depends upon Tsuto, she'd love to be able to attack and if so...

Attack: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (17) + 3 = 20
Damage: 1d6 ⇒ 4

Zara'll give give Damieka a big hug for her day. (although Davben'd prefer to)

Oh no he doesn't! Silva hustles down the hall, hammer in hand.

Move to D-11.

Davben keeps after Tsuto the half-elf has taken a pretty good beating he must be on his last legs. If he doesn't surrender as Nicea instructs Davben will chase after him in an attempt to take him down.

Attack: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (7) + 3 = 10

Zara's stealing my Damieka hugs. Is this some unexpected competition?

Samara gasps for air upon being winded, and is a bit slow in catching up with the others to help if she can.

Move to B6

• Nicea double moves to C-9.

• Silva moves to D-11.

• Samara moves to B-6

• Tsuto strikes Nicea with an open palm to the face knocking her unconscious for the second time.

  Attack: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (14) + 4 = 18

  Damage: 1d6 + 1 ⇒ (6) + 1 = 7

  He then panics after realizing hes surrounded and runs for the stairs.

  Zara Attack of Opportunity: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (2) + 3 = 5 Miss

  Davben Attack of Opportunity: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (8) + 3 = 11 Miss

  Damieka Attack of Opportunity: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (18) + 3 = 21 Hit

  Confirm Crit: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (7) + 3 = 10 Fail

  Damage: 1d6 + 3 ⇒ (6) + 3 = 9

Damieka is too quick for Tsuto and cuts him down with her Scimitar.

VICTORY!

Everybody level up your character. It is not necessary to rest in order to level up. Whatever you gain from your new level is added onto what your current stats are. You do not re-gain any spells, HP, etc until you rest.

Samara looks towards the fallen Tsuto and then towards Nicea and says with some concern, "Is she alright?" She walks back to pick up her bow, brushing it off. "Does she require one of the potions?"

"Stupid bastard," Silva mutters as his spell winks out, looking down at Tsuto with a look of disgust, "Don't you dare bleed to death!"

The dancing lights have expired.

Zara drops down onto her seat upon the sacks, swinging her legs onto the floor. The dancer not wanting to jump down upon the floor with her freshly healed feet and sandals.

Seeing that Davben is rushing over to Nicea's side, reluctantly Zara moves towards the fallen half-elf. Bending down in front of him, she tries to keep him alive. Using his own shirt and cloth for bandages. "He is a nasty man, but...." Zara says quietly trying to justify her actions whilst Nicea is still bleeding. "Ameiko deserves better, for her brother to be killed here. And the town deserves truth, justice should be done in the light of day - not in the dark." She continues her work, blinking tears from her eyes, as she thinks of the families of those tortured and dead upstairs.

"Plus we could do with more information, how could a man work with these deviant goblins."

Heal to Stabilise: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (6) + 6 = 12

Heal Round 13: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (2) + 6 = 8

"I could swear I heard something down that tunnel over there when I called her name out," Silva says as helps Zara with the half-elf's wounds. "I don't know if it was Ameiko or not, but we'd better take a look. I swear, if he touched her..."

Davben seeing Nicea has fallen again hurries over to her kneeling down to make sure she's alright. He reaches out to carefully touch her cheek using his talent to keep her stable. He can't believe how horrible Tsuto and those goblins were to her, that was hardly balanced. "How could they do this to you of all people..." He looks towards Samara "She should be out of danger now, but some healing would certainly be appreciated."

Davben uses sacred touch to automatically stabilize Nicea

Applying the 6 level-up HP to wake up.

"Ugh." Nicea rolls to her side and sits up groggily. "That guy packs a punch. Tie him up before you help him."

She pulls a potion from her belt pouch and drinks it.

Cure Light: 1d8 + 1 ⇒ (7) + 1 = 8

Samara looks back towards Nicea and says, not having seen her quaff the one in her belt, "Ah, you are awake! That is a thing that you are. I still have the potions, if you require one."

Nicea pushes herself up off the floor to her feet and approaches Samara. "I'd like one, if you don't mind. I used my own but am not feeling particularly strong yet." She glares at Tsuto. "Bastard cost me 50 gold. I'd like to take it out of his skin. Let's tie him up and find his sister, then get the heck out of here."

Zara looks down at the stable half-elf and then to Silva; "True we need to find her, soon. Anyone got anything to tie him up with. He's not deserving of a sacred-scarf." She looks to dump him tied up upon the sacking.

There's a wane look as Zara's sight turns towards Nicea, and her failure to keep the sturdy woman standing.

Nicea pulls the rope from her pack. "Anybody good with knots?"

Davben moves over to Nicea "I'm glad to see you're alright, perhaps he has something of worth on him to replace what he cost you..." He looks at the rope, then over towards Tsuto "I'm not trained in knots but I can make an attempt to tie him if you'd like."

"Not too bad, or else my scarves would fall down. And ...." she blushes at the thought.

Then moves towards Nicea with a smile for their glorious leader. She tries to fumble with the knots, not pleased with the result; then she looks down at her top and squeaks realising how poor the knot on the side must be.

Knots: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (18) + 1 = 19
CMB +1 so Escape Artist 21, for Tsuto to escape. Unless someone else wants to improve it

Davben looks towards Zara as she moves to tie Tsuto and shrugs his shoulders "It seems Zara has beaten me too it, I guess she was eager to tie him. Do you still have your lantern? We should search for Ameiko but some areas are too dark to search effectively."

Nicea pulls the lantern from her pack and lights it. "We need to hurry. It didn't sound like he'd hurt his sister, but we haven't seen her yet. I don't know what's going on. Let's hustle."

After Tsuto is tied and chucked on the sacking; "Samara, what was in that room? Maybe we can lock him in there?" If Silva will let us use his light we can check out the room, dump Tsuto in there and move towards the rough hewn passage J9.

Damieka leans against the door to the stairway looking at her scimitar as if it were going to jump up and do tricks. She takes a deep breath and lets it out as the others stabilize Nicea and Tsuto and shakes her head.

She finally turns and wipes her blade on some packs, cleaning it as well as possible then sheaths it. The half elf walks over to the others and looks down at the other half elf, "I am glad you are safe, Nicea. Maybe someone should stay and watch him just in case. He's pretty slippery."

The hunter watches the ground not daring to look at anyone, "Maybe I should as I am not as good in these cramped quarters as everyone else."

Nicea aids Zara in dragging Tsuto, then gives the scarfed cleric a quick hug. "Thank you for saving my life. I could feel the healing energies. I'd be dead if not for you."

She approaches Damieka and claps her hand on the despondent half-elf's shoulder. "Well done! I don't like the idea of losing Tsuto, but I don't like the idea of leaving you alone here in danger. It was tough for all of us down here, especially you, but we don't know where we'll find Amieko. Don't be discouraged." She grimaces. "At least you didn't use up everyone else's energy trying to keep you alive, Damieka."

"It was tougher for you getting so badly hurt. We were all concerned." Damieka says as she looks up at Nicea, "I just thought of something. What if he was talking about a goblin god that he loved? That would explain some of this.

She tries to think of what goblin gods would be and if there are any enemies of certain ones.

Returning the hug; Zara is so very grateful for the acknowledgement from Nicea. Blushing slightly as they part, she shakes her head in denial of the trouble. "I just wish I could have done something more."

Gently approaching Damieka, the smells of wild flowers makes Zara smile lightly. The dancer places her hand upon Damieka's elbow, in slightly uncomfortable friendship. "Stay with us. He'll not rouse and if he does, he's in a closet and bound."

"Here let me try this..." she places a warming hand upon Nicea's shoulder. The power enhances her confidence (like she needs it :P) and aim.

Cast Guidance: 1 min duration upon Nicea.

With someone elses help and some light, Zara heaves Tsuto to F5 and places him in the room there. She looks around and just checks to make sure that he'll be safe, checking upon the lock on the door and that Ameiko hasn't been kept in there?

Sorry Damieka, you need a Knowledge Religion check to figure that one out. Unfortunately that skill is "Trained Only" which means you are not skilled in it. You'll either need to put 1 point into it when you update your character to level 2 or ask somebody who knows.

STORAGE: This room is used to store glassware, windows, and other finished goods.

Silva's Dancing Lights spell fizzles out of existence.

"Come on, let's just leave him here. We need to get a move on," Silva says with a sense of urgency, nudging his head towards the direction of the tunnel, "Even if Tsuto wakes up, there's no way he'll cooperate after all that. We have a better chance of finding Ameiko ourselves."

Silva will follow along if the others decide to head on out.

Zara looks about the storage room; "Too much to break and use to cut his bonds free. Lets just tie his legs and leave him in the corridor." she posits. "Or we could just lean a window on him, he won't escape that way,"
