Hmm. I think I'll be using this. It fits too well with Tera's sometimes zany schemes.
Tera Flinders
I think one of these days I'll need to run We Be Goblins.
And I'll be editing my post shortly. >:3
DM Nate
Umm, is that a module where everyone plays as a goblin? Because that sounds like it could be a lot of fun...
Tera Flinders
Yep, and I probably wouldn't do mine for PFS credit simply because I'd rather not deal with the paperwork.
Salomae Amsel
There are actually 4 modules in that series now:
We Be Goblins
We Be Goblins Too
We Be Goblins Free
We B4 Goblins
I've only played the first one but I bet it'd be fun to go through all four. Of course I've been told that even though We B4 Goblins is a prequel to the others, it has a lot of references to the other three modules so playing them in release order might make more sense than playing them in chronological order.
Tera Flinders
Maybe after New Years. Things are going to be hectic for me for a bit and then the Holidays hit.
Salomae Amsel
If Tera would like to run WBG at some point then I'm happy to select something else (not like there's not a million things to pick from). As to what that might be, I'll have to think on it. I've talked my brother into trying PFS PbP provided I run the game, but I'm not sure when that will be - something with a leisurely pace during the holidays might be possible or it might be something that doesn't happen until after the start of the new year. Or I could run something in Campaign Mode, which would allow people to play without the constraint of abiding by PFS rules and rulings but still offer the possibility of getting credit for the experience for a PFS character, for those interested :)

Speaking of recruitments...
So folks, I thought maybe you might be interested in this horrible little tale that I'd like to tell. Your untrustworthy storyteller stands at the doorway, keys jangling at his belt and bids you to sit by the remnants of his fire...With a twitching brow and a faraway gaze, he wants to tell you about the Blight...
Kaede Mayumi
I'm down to 1 Hero point already, so I'd prefer to not to have to use it.
DM Nate
Yeah, Kaede, I think you might be the only one who’s spent any hero points so far... so, the other thing for people to consider is that 3 is the cap (so when you hit 4th and/or finish this story arc you may not be able to gain the hero point you normally would if you don’t spend 1 or 2).
Salomae Amsel
I'd be willing to use a Hero Point to try and intercept the charge or maybe generate some sort of healing effect on Kaelaah, depending on what's possible. Eating the full damage would put Sal dangerously close to KO territory herself but she does still have a healing potion that she can use if she can get to a position to do so.
DM Nate
Sal- you could use a hero point to act out of turn and use your blessing of Arshea... the save DC won’t be very high but even if the chief succeeds he’s still staggered for one round, which would buy some time...
edit: also, I kind of forgot about the blessings, sorry; I’m going to start passing those out again for posting on holidays.
Tera Flinders
Hey, I'm just happy the game's going again. I love this group and have been enjoying this so far. Don't sweat forgetting about those.
DM Nate
Actually, upon further reflection... Kaelaah or Zache could both do the hero point/blessing of Arshea thing too (and both would have a higher DC than Sal)...
Salomae Amsel
I'd actually forgotten about the Arshea thing, hehe - I need to go back and find that post so I can link it in my profile (and not forget about it again). Also I heard from Zache; the site issues last week really threw them out of whack on their posting on top of their usual RL busyness but they'll hopefully be able to post soon.
Kaelaah
Sorry for slowing things down- i had to drive to South Carolina last night (from my home in western ny)* and I’m exhausted... I’ll get something up this evening.
thats just about 1500km for our non-US friends
That's a big drive - you should probably relax rather than worry about posting an update!!! ...and, fyi, not all of your non-US friends use kilometres!!! It's the good ol' mile around these parts :)
Kaelaah
Ah, a spotty 2 hour nap... right as rain.
@Orin- you’re an idiot. (He is here)
@Kaelaah- it was just short of 950 miles.
Yeah, I'd kinda worked that out!!! I lived in Australia for five years so I'm used to having to look at a kilometre road sign and work out exactly how far that really is!!! Still an impressive amount of driving (and I would have rounded up to the thousand to make the point!)
DM Nate
And, I have successfully completed the same roughly 1000 mile/1500 km drive in reverse. Well, not literally- i drove forwards, but followed the directions backwards... It’s nice to be home and I’m looking forward to sleeping in my own bed!
DM Nate
Hey all, 2 things...
1) just a friendly reminder that we're still using the posting incentive system; so, 1/day you can add +1 to a skill check, ability check, saving throw, or attack/CMB roll if you made a gameplay post the day before. I know when the party is split into groups in the initiative like in the last battle it can be hard to get that rhythm where the bonus applies but feel free to use it when you can (ie. remember that's a thing).
2) I am bringing back the holiday posting blessings. the list of included holidays is decidedly US-centric (sorry non-US players), but remember that's a thing also. the next holiday covered is Thanksgiving, which is this Thursday.
Edit: 3 things... I also added the crude map to my banner, so that should make it easier for everyone to pull up quickly.

The sun is shining brightly as Orin makes his way home after a long day. The town still bears the scars of recent events, but the smiles of Sandpoints people seems to wash them away. As he approaches Aunt Saras house, he lets the sun warm his face for just a moment, then enters.
The sound of laughter and the smell of roasted hens greet him in equal strength at the door. Aunt Sara and his brother James are engaged in a jovial game of marbles as a dinner feast stays warm near the hearth.
I am a man with no land, no title, no wife and no heir, the young guard muses,
and yet, there is still so much to be thankful for.
Happy Thanksgiving

Happy Thanksgiving/Thursday!
I have a post coming but I’m tired from cooking since 7am, and overly full from eating too much, so i’ll need a little bit of time...

At least it was delicious! Hope all of y'all had a good day, whether or not you were celebrating Thanksgiving Day. Here's to another year to be thankful for and another day to make the most of.

Well, I'm not an expert on time-zones but it looks like everyone posted on Thursday... so, everyone earns:
Blessing Thisamet
Once during the campaign you may spend an hour sharing a meal with someone and grant your guest the effects of a restoration spell (as a spell-like ability). A simple meal will suffice for a normal use of this blessing but in order to dispel a permanent negative level you must provide food and drink worth at least 100 gold. No other material components are required to use this blessing.
DM Nate
Uhh... that^^ should have said “Blessing of Thisamet” (obviously).
Just a heads up: I have company coming over tonight so Kaede and Zache will have a couple extra hours to post before they hold their actions (which will push them to after the brute acts again).
Kaede Mayumi
Go ahead. I have work until 10.
Tera Flinders
Happy to have Joe along permanently! A little said that Orin won't be around, but I'm looking forward to getting to know Marcus.
DM Nate
Well, I didn't want to spoil the surprise but since the cat's out of the bag... yes, Welcome Joe!
Orin may still show up once in a while as an NPC.
Tera Flinders
Methinks this is going to be fun. :)
Also, more than happy to have Orin as a drinking buddy.
