I am more thinking of having 'freinds' fighting along side the characters than mercenaries. Though, as the internet saying goes, "Why not both?" ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

We already have an 'Admiral' in the personage of Noro.

Am sure Reijo wouldn't mind a promotion. (^_~)

Suny has always had plans for... 'More' as per notes to the power's that be. So 'Fleet' it is, then?

Maybe I can find a lone Chelaxian ship, indicate a need to speak, dock together, pretend to be a Chelaxian captain, gather information about Cheliax's plans, give them false information in return...? If an applicable situation happens to manifest, at least.

As Suny asked, yeah, Reijo's definitely going to want to know the details. Four ships, yes, but what kind: war frigates with heavy firepower, or lighter cruisers built for speed or scouting, something in between, etc..

That said, I'm liking the ruse idea too. That's why we kept the Chelaxian decor, of course. :)

Guess the plan is to pretend to be a Chelaxian crew, meet with their leader and play along with what they say while getting clues as to their particular plans and the greater plan of Cheliax, if possible.

I yam thinkin' that's the way?

Though her ship bein' "Towed" in such a way that yer own ship, Captain Reijo, in't stealin' no wind from her sails (Which I yam hopin' be hangin' all limp and disorderly like) so's she can tighten her gussets and get to clashing with the ship's she's best catchin'. (^_^)

I ask because, unless I missed it, I don't think Noro (the player) agreed or disagreed with the plan yet. At least the part about Noro's ship being towed. I don't imagine why he wouldn't, but I prefer to get explicit consent.

I should add that the ropes towing Noro's ship are tied in a way to be easily released. I'm not familiar with sailor's knots enough to know a particular knot type's name offhand, but I'm sure there are a few.

True. I guess I like the idea of minimizing rope waste.

Reijo may be a pirate. But he's a green-conscious pirate. Reuse your rope, save Golarion. ;)

Seriously though, whichever way has a better chance of working quickly and effectively in the moment is what Reijo instructs his crew to do.

Yeah, it isn't looking too good for this game, sad to say.

Unless Michael makes a miraculous return (and Noro too; I believe we also lost her), it's been a real pleasure playing with you all. Thanks for bringing me into it, Suny. :)

Life's gotten pretty busy for me anyway. But if anyone finds a good pirate-themed game for our characters to meet up once again, do please let me know. :)
