A race against time pits some of the mightiest heroes in the land against a long sealed threat that seeks to reach even to the gods themselves.


I'm going to put rules for inside Gallowspire here, for ease of reference, under spoiler tabs. As you guys explore and learn more about the situation in Gallowspire, I'll expand/add things.

Gallowspire Environment:

* Positive Energy and healing effects are halved (this includes effects that heal negative levels and ability damage/drain). Conversely, negative energy effects are doubled (all effects of the Necromancy school are included in this effect).

*Teleportation effects do not work across the wards that are built into the city. All teleportation effects do work, however, within/between a set of wards.

*No one has asked yet, but the 3rd ward that you passed through suppresses any non-extraordinary effect that would prevent or limit negative energy or necromancy effects (such as deathward, the deathless armor enchantment, and so on). Artifacts are the only things that have a chance of bypassing this effect, and the Artifact must generate the effect on it's own.
