It’s been a week now of very unstable message boards with a bewildering set of error messages. I see no one has complained as yet, likely from complaint-fatigue and the glimmer of hope that someone at Paizo is working on it.
However, it’s been a week, and while it has gotten a bit better, it’s still a trash-fire. For those of us who still role-play on this website, it’s killing our games. People don’t always have the opportunity to keep checking back for site stability in order to post. Most of us already have the habit of writing our posts off site and pasting into Paizo due to the usual instability, but it’s so bad now people are giving up even trying - waiting for others to say whether it’s working or not at that moment.
It’s a topic of conversation in every gaming group I’m affiliated with.
So I ask you. Is this the new normal for those of us on the message board side? Has the push to try and stabilize/improve the shopping cart meant that the rest of us are doomed?
Please let us know what to expect, what happened to start it, what’s going on, if there’s a fix planned, etc. This is plainly awful.

Getting Post-Tried-Still-Disappeared for all the site glitching, so I'm snapping fingers in agreement with the frustration voiced here.
If I might add, I'm getting older, and I routinely Search my own games to pull relevant story information for continuity, and the Search Box might as well have been removed, for what good it's done for my older and current games. Any hope to hold that you might restore its full function?

Yeah, I've been having intermittent issues, too. Sometimes I get the page claiming there's scheduled maintenance when there's clearly no scheduled maintenance going on...
That's something I find incredibly annoying. When sites have "scheduled maintenance" pages as the default "site's not working" page, they're effectively just lying to users.

Well, it’s been another weekend and a bit, and we seem more stable. Still the usual flickers, but not nearly as bad as it was. Thank you for fixing whatever was broken.
Still, it’d be nice if someone stopped by and acknowledged there was a problem and let us know if we can expect more of the same until the supposed upgrade - if it ever comes.
Alas, perhaps it is but a pleasant dream.
