Anyone still interested in Star Wars?

Okay. I've been thinking of a Star Wars game. Using Saga edition rules. Either Old Republic or Legacy.

Like Ouachitonian, I'm always interested in Star Wars.
Haven't played the Saga Edition stuff. Would that be a problem? Our group used to play the old d6 system. Good times. The Force was with us.

I think that might be a problem. There are differences from WEG Star Wars and d20 Star Wars. I got all the Saga stuff, though. The Force will still be with you with the Saga Edition, just some things to adjust.
And, yes, I'm considering a Star Wars game. Apparently, I get inspired from the right sources to do these games. I just wanted to know who liked the OLD continuity over the Disney Star Wars.
What time period are you considering?
Between A New Hope and Empire? Post Empire/Pre Return of the Jedi, or after Jedi?

Saga Edition isn't exactly the SRD, but if you're familiar with 3.5 or PF1, I don't think you'll have a hard time adapting, they're pretty similar.

Either Knights of the Old Republic era (thousands of years before the battle of Yavin) or the Legacy era (40 years after the Battle of Yavin). I'd rather have an era that is wide open.

I'll be ordering the players book when I get paid this week. The rules seem pretty straightforward, especially with knowing 3.5 and pf1e. Cool.

And just to answer your question, I don't hate Disney Star Wars, as a matter of fact I'm rather fond of Mandolorian. That said, it's NOT the original Trilogy that rocked my world as a kid and made me love that whole setting.

I admit, what I saw of the Mandolorian was good. But it was Episodes 7 through 9 that turned me off.

Always interested in a Starwars game!
I'm neutral as to the era explored, if it's star wars, I'm in!
As for inspiration, as an old guy who saw the original "A New Hope" in theatres, I'm inspired by all of it, even the new stuff.
Well, if you all want to play Jedi, we will start on Yavin-4. If any of you choose a different class, then we start on the planet Coruscant.
I'm good either way. Who doesn't want to be a Jedi, eh? But being a smuggler pilot can always be fun too.

I'm thinking of a plot so far. The heroes are to find the lost Jedi planet Tython. although you might find yourselves on Korriban. :)
Whattaya say, guys? All Jedi or the usual array of 'scum and villany' with some jedi mixed in?
Tough to not play a defense focused Suresu master like Kenobi :)
