Hey y'all, this past weekend STF Network hosted their STF CON and had a livestreamed panel with some of the Starfinder Team to talk about SF2E! They cover several topics, including news about Tales from the Vast, new future adventures for SF2E, and even Tech Core!
I did a big write-up about it over on Reddit, so please check it out! Link to the post can be found HERE!
Also, please check out STF Network's VOD of the panel as well! Link to the VOD can be found HERE!

Thanks for posting that video. It touches on most of the major conversations on SF2e in the forums lately. (Tech Core, classes, and starship combat)
Now to go research how FTL plays.
I can't recommend FTL enough it is the best 10 bucks I have spent. It is super addictive and very fun game. It can get really hectic as you are dealing with hull breaches/boarders/managing power and systems to keep in the fight.

I'm sure he did a great job but loading the new guy up with frikin Starship Combat was a hilariously brutal move.
Overall it was an excellent interview, and I loved the notetaking OP!
I'm so looking forward to checking out the final technomancer and new dwarf content. Rock and Stone!

I love FTL and I was just thinking about how well it would translate to ttrpg play. I doubt it'll work exactly the same, no one wears a space suit and crew can be pretty expendable after all. I hope we get to run around around a ship map managing it's systems more than anything like hex based navel combat.
I am excited to see the new ancestries in the Tech Core. I really want to play an R2-D2 style robot that the Android just doesn't really scratch for me. I hope we see something like the SRO from 1e. Poppets based on modern action figures and electronic toys could be a neat idea too though.

Iirc, both a recent society adventure and the Galaxy Guide mention SROs, Holograms, and even Anacites as coming up in Tech Core. Don't quote me tho!
I would absolutely love a modern action figure Popper heritage! I've joked before about running an adventure about the birth of the newborn giving consciousness to a whole store's worth of Captain Veskarium action figures- and they've taken the store hostage as the first territory of the New Toy Vesk Empire!
