Hey, my group's been working on switching our 5E campaign over to Pathfinder for a few weeks and we've run into some trouble figuring out how to best transfer a certain character, an Artillerist Artificer 6/ Genie Warlock 3. We're pretty new to this system so I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions as to the closest thing we could get, concept-wise.
Here's the key components we'd like to find something similar to:
The character uses a quarterstaff as an Arcane Firearm and casts his damage spells (Fire Bolt, Scorching Ray, Eldritch Blast) through said staff.
He also uses the Pact of the Chain from Warlock to get a Duck Familiar; we'd like to keep that too if possible.
The character's background is as a tracker and bounty hunter.
Thanks!

You can pull this off pretty easily with the Myrmidarch archetype for the Magus class.
Caster? Check
Spellstriking? Check (both melee and ranged)
Familiar? Check (Magus Arcana)
Eldritch Blast? No real correlation in Pathfinder, but the Pool Ray magus arcana might come close.
The background stuff is just a matter of skill investment.

Staves are just poor double weapons in PF1. At higher levels an expensive magic staff can let spellcasters schmooze spells around into specific spells.
With firearms usually you want a class that gives you Quick Clear so you can "fix" the misfire/broken condition.
There are a couple of ways to fire spells out of your firearm.
Some classes force a choice; pistol or rifle. PF1 is into specialization as a way to handle power growth.
You can get a familiar a couple of ways (class, feats, etc). They are soft targets (pretty killable) so Blood Sentinel spell might be more practical.
PF1 tracking is via Survival skill. Bounty Hunter is a job(professional skill) or a class.
It's not good to multiclass a lot or freely with spellcasters as they take a hit to spell access and castable spell levels. Wizard can take 1-2 but you have to be careful. The others are more sensitive.
Magus arch Myrmidarch is a decent choice. Wizard arch [!PFS]Spellslinger is an option. With a loose reading Magus arch [!PFS]Eldritch Archer could work. A more powerful build would be a specialist wizard with a level in gunslinger or myrmidarch but you will loose the theatrics.

viglante has a warlock archetype that at least has the unlimited blast that can even do touch attacks and gets 6 levels of wizard spells, but the old school warlock that got 1d6 every two levels for a blast is where Kineticist is at. Kineticist is my fav class.
for artillerist, i've never played one of those, but a quick read reminds me of alchemist bombs, clockwork alchemy, and seige mage depending on what youre going for.
