Normally, affixing a Talisman is an exploration action that takes 10 minutes.
There is a skill feat, "Rapid Affixture", which lets you do it in 1 minute. It requires lvl 7 and Master in Crafting. When you reach Legendary in Crafting, you can do it by spending 3 actions.Meanwhile, the Talisman Dabbler Archetype has a lvl 4 feat, "Quick Fix" that lets you get "Rapid Affixture" without needing to meet the skill requirements, let's you affix 4 talismans at the same time, and lets you do it in 3 actions at lvl 12.

I don't understand, you can have four talisman affixed to one piece of armor say? But in combat however you could only use one correct? Or could you use all four? I thought only Talismanic Sage could let you affix a second talisman and be able to use it in combat."A single talisman can be affixed to only one item at a time, and an item can have only one talisman affixed to it at a time without suppressing them all."
If you affix more than one, they are all suppressed and all don't work at all.
Talismanic Sage"Normally, affixing more than one talisman to an item causes the talismans to be suppressed, but when you Affix a Talisman, you can specially treat one item you're working on, allowing it to have two active talismans at once. This special treatment ends if you use Affix a Talisman to treat a new item for this ability."
Yes, Talismanic Sage allows two talismans for only one item at a time.

To clarify, The Talisman Dabbler's "Quick Fix" allows you to attach four talismans in the time it would take a notmal person to attach one, but by default each must be attached to a seperate item (E.G. A fourth level character who just took Quick Fix could attach four alloy orbs to four different weapons to help his entire party against a werewolf). The Talismanic Sage feat allows you to attach two talismans to the same item, so if you had both feats you could attach two talismans to your armor, one to your weapon, and one to your shield, all with a single use of the Affix a Talisman activity, which at this level would only require three actions.

Quick Fix (but not Rapid Affixture) lets you affix or remove up to 4 talismans in the same 10 minute time period - but not on the same item.
So you could put one talisman on your armor and one each on your 3 allies armor at the same time.
You couldn't put 4 talismans on your armor at once.
Rapid Affixture changes the time period for an affixture activity (no matter how many talismans are being affixed or where) from 10 minutes to 1 minute - or 3 actions if you have legendary proficiency.

As a side note: spellhearts are treated as talismans for affixing on armor or a weapon (time/actions needed, how many can be affixed, etc.) and you cannot have both a spellheart and a talisman affixed to the same item without Talismanic Sage.

Quite a few Fulu are also Talismans and will run into the same restrictions.
