Hey all! Our current GM is unable to continue running the Rise of the Runelords game we are playing due to real life commitments, so our doughty heroes, newly anointed after our first combat, are looking for a new GM to bring Golarion to life.
The Cast of Characters:
Erridon - A sylph investigator looking for adventure beyond Sandpoint
Garren - An aasimar paladin of Ragathiel looking to protect the innocent from a looming threat
Grod - A half-orc warpriest of Gorum looking for worthy challenges and to spread Gorum's faith
Isidiana - A gnomish bard looking to perform at the Sandpoint Theatre under Cyrdak
Tot - A tiefling fighter looking for a place she can call home
Zorlen - A tiefling wizard looking to become powerful enough to never lose anyone again
We have beaten the raid on the Swallowtail Festival, but haven't gotten much further than that. Aldern Foxglove has taken us on a ride through the Hinterlands and rewarded us for saving his life with 10 GP each and a light riding horse. We have just meet Shalelu and discovered that the tombs of Ezakien Tobyn and Nualia Tobyn have been desecrated and their remains stolen. At the moment, Garren and Grod are investigating the tracks and the tomb. Zorlen is having a conversation with Father Zantus, Isidiana and Erridon are in the Rusty Dragon's common room having a discussion, and Tot is starting a conversation with Ameiko.
One last note: Because I have the RorRL Anniversary Edition and have read through it, I know that this will become important later. Aldern appears to have fixated on Garren.

I'm willing to apply to take this over. I've played through Rise book 1 and part of book 2 before, and this looks like a good cast to work with.

Welp, as luck would have it, the monster called Ei-ar-ell seems to have swallowed another GM. We've hardly made any progress, so pretty much where we were when this was first posted.

It's been a while since I ran anything for PF1, but I might remember how...If you can't find anyone else, I would take you on if you'll be gentle if I break into PF2 talk suddenly.

Damn, maybe the best most consistent DM on the boards, I'm not a PC in this game but a big yes to this offer is highly recommended:-)

And if you read the thread we've been having fun just posting character building stuff for a while. Just need a GM to get us moving in the story again.
BTW, I'm the Sylph Investigator. But I don't know that I'm a Sylph.... Specifically didn't take Know-Planes so I don't know anything about extra-planar races.

All joking aside, I know I would be delighted to have you take over. I think Eri's just given his approval. I'll check with everyone else to see what they think.
By the way, I'm playing Tot, the tiefling that's sitting on a rather explosive secret. As Eri's said, we've been having fun doing some character building stuff, but we do need someone to help get us moving again.

I will start reading the thread just in case you choose to have me run for you. Looks like an interesting and dedicated group of players which is always a plus for any game.
Still waiting to hear from a couple of players, but the rest of us are all for it. Isi's player is in another game you run and gave his enthusiastic endorsement. :)
Fooled at least one of you then...Ridge is a good player, and happy to have him in the Strength of Thousands game I run here.
