Focus Spells and Spellstrike

Yeah, this will be quick:
Can you use a focus spell (doesn't have to be a conflux spell) with Spellstrike?
The reason I'm asking is because the rules text for Spellstrike makes no mention of using focus points, just that the spell chosen uses 1-2 actions.

Yes. Unless someone knows some obscure rule denying this, focus spells cast like everything else and can used with spellstrike as long as one or two actions.

Yeah. As far as I know, focus spells (from any source) and innate spells both work fine.

Focus spells are spells. If something just says it works with spells, it works with focus spells. The question isn't "does it specifically say it works with focus spells" but "does it specifically say it doesn't work with focus spells." Compare it to other abilities like the cleric's Divine Weapons feats, which specifically only works with divine spell slots, or Bespell Strikes, which works with non-vantrip spells.

Unless something forbids focus spells, or specifies a spell level that would make a focus spell ineligible, a focus spell is a spell.

As others have said, focus spells aren't excluded from working with Spellstrike. Similarly they can work with the Eldritch Archer's Eldritch Shot ability. I have a complete list here:

Spells for Eldritch Shot and Spellstrike

It's all of the spells (including focus spells) with the attack trait that can be cast in 1 or 2 actions.

It's a Google doc so it's best viewed in apps which are designed for those.

This just proves we need more Attack Roll Spells.
