The Ranged Reprisal feat didn't make it into the remaster. Is there a replacement that I'm missing somewhere? Or is there no option to build a ranged paladin anymore?

NIMBLE REPRISAL FEAT 1
CHAMPION
Prerequisites justice causeYou can use Retributive Strike at greater distance. You can use a ranged weapon to make a ranged Strike instead of a melee Strike for Retributive Strike. The enemy needs to be in range, but not in reach, and it must still be in your champion’s aura. You can also make melee Strikes against enemies a bit farther away. If the enemy that triggered your reaction is outside your reach but is within 5 feet of your reach, as part of your reaction you can Step to put the enemy in your reach before making a melee Retributive Strike.

Its actually improved because with the L6 expand aura feat you can temporarily make it 30ft for an action (until your next turn at L6, for 1 min at L10, and forever at L16). So L10+ is a great time to retrain something to ensure you have a 30 foot aura every combat to trigger your reactions, focus spells, etc.

I used to just use the Protection domain focus spells for this purpose.

Yup. I played my remastered Champion (ex Paladin) for the first time last night. He is level 10 (Thank you PFS for your rebuild rules :-) :-))
I changed him into a throwing weapon build. With a 30 foot aura he was seriously useful (especially when we were fighting fiends :-)).
I think he is probably fairly balanced against a one handed reach weapon build. Still gets all the tankiness of a champion using a shield. But having to buy BOTH Dex (so you can hit) AND Str (for damage) really strains your stats, even at L10. If I'd actually played him from level 1 it would have sucked more :-(. The extra range on the ranged reprisal is sometimes irrelevant and sometimes awesome.
The new Blessing of the Devoted are all kind of meh. At least the swiftness one gives a little more bonus to my allies.
But man does Shields of the Spirit rock, especially against Fiends. And Lay on Hands is just a Blessed One archetype pick away so you can have both pretty easily (I really wanted 3 focus points).

If you're a Champion of Kurgess you get to make your Javelins d8, which is pretty cool, and you can keep your shield. Basically forces you into a returning rune though, but those are cheap and with Expand Aura you have a 30 ft murder aura (though it only really comes online at 10th level when it lasts a minute).
Still, on paper it appears to be pretty solid.
