How does one remove petrification in the Remaster?

Petrify has replaced Flesh to Stone. I don't see a Stone to Flesh equivalent, and Petrify doesn't say anything about being able to remove its own effect or anything.

I've long believed that Dispel Magic wouldn't work, since the spell ends when the creature becomes fully petrified. I could be wrong about that, tho.

If I am correct about Dispel Magic not working, how does one remove the fully petrified effect of Petrify or similar effects using only Remastered content?

Ideally you'd still have access to Stone to Flesh.

Clearly we need a remastered homologue to Stone To Flesh, I would suggest "Unpetrify".

Curative spells were somewhat consolidated in the Remaster. Un-petrification should be a feature available in one of the curative spells. Sure-Footing is my first assumption since that spell seems to be the 'movement restriction' category. Check the heightening around the same level Stone to Flesh was (5th or 6th?). There may be others, but if it's only one, it's gotta be that one.

Unrelated, I'm really fond of the name scheme for the new curative spells (Sound Body, Clear Mind) but I really wish there'd been time to go another pass around on Sure Footing. It just doesn't work for me out of that list, and I don't know what better option to suggest, but surely there could have been something. Nimble, Spry, or Limber something or another.

6th level Sure Footing does indeed counteract petrified.

Nimble Moves.

I would suggest Unfettered Movement, but that spell does exist and does something different but similar.

til that aon is updated to the remaster

But apparently they haven't linked all the legacy spells that have been consolidated into fewer remaster spells, like how faerie fire and glitterdust were both rolled into revealing light. Only glitterdust is linked as the "legacy" version. I guess stone to flesh did do more than heightened sure footing but it would be nice if old stone to flesh pointed to sure footing in some way, for people like the OP looking for the remastered spells intended to fit those roles
