Amp/Guidance, amp message, heal, harm, lay on hands, gravity weapon, etc etc. Nothing about the feat requires a psychic spell to be cast after all.
You'll also sometimes see it on magi to throw an extra d6 onto their true strike spellstrike. Just another die to stack onto the absolute mess of damage you can output with it.

I wouldn't bother with it unless you're getting two strikes out of it personally. Ranger with Hunted Shot would be comparable to the flurry routine.
If you Unlesh Pysche (not a multiclass option) it can last two full turns. Perhaps as an Ooze battle form.

I think it is pretty cool thing to go for as a Precision Bow Ranger. Between Gravity Weapon, Animal Feature and Psychic spells like Warp Step you can get some mileage out of the Psy Strikes + Hunted Shot combo.
Depending on your GM, you might also get it to stack with Bespel Weapon (I wouldn't allow it, but the triggers are technically different). That would be 2d6 there, quite decent if you can fit all those feats somehow.

Huh.
Psy Strikes does work with any spell.
I conflated the requirements with the ones for Psychic Rapport.
The sheild spell still seems like the best choice, since it's one action,a cantrip and always useful in combat.
I think this combo would look cool on a double pistol wielder, but I'm not sure it would be optimal.

A "one action to get a minor benefit through archetyping" builds are always going to work best on a monk, since part of the monk schtick is "best action economy."
Like you could get the Psychic Archetype and Jalmeri Heavenseeker to use Psi Strikes and Heaven's Thunder spending 2 actions to get mental, sonic, and electric damage on your 2 attack flurry with monastic archer style. You're probably not going to want to make that -10 attack anyway.

Oh, that's a pretty cool idea actually... I had already considered it as a decent pickup to fuel third action strikes on a normal psychic caster but using it to support a polymorph build would be sick.
