Like many of you, I've been paying close attention to the OGL mess with anger at WOTC and concern for all the people affected. I'm hoping as news unfolds, everything will be OK. It's all got me reflecting on how much I appreciate Paizo, its people, and all the wonderful books they've been giving us and continue to give us.
I started this weekend playing in a super-fun Strength of Thousands campaign as a Skeleton Gunslinger and was able to enjoy both the deep story in the adventure and how mechanically cool it was to play my character.
Yesterday, I spent a good amount of time preparing to GM a Starfinder Society module set in the Veskarium. There is so much fantastic reference material to support it both in the module itself, Near Space, and various Alien Archives. It feels so rich and interesting being able to dig deep into the lore.
I'm preparing a Crown of the Kobold King run with a bunch of friends for later this month and am taking pleasure in seeing the characters they're creating. I'm full of anticipation at running them through this classic adventure AND GM'ing with Foundry for the first time.
As I do dull tasks around the house, I get to listen to old Glass Cannon Podcasts and hear them play through Giantslayer, Dark Suns, Ruins of Azlant, Strange Aeons and all the laughs that go with it.
My bookshelves are full of years of Paizo books, maps, and tokens and it's amazing how consistently great the quality, writing, art, and packaging are. It's thrilling just looking at it all.
So thank you Paizo and thanks to the many creators past and present for giving me so much enjoyment in my life.

Paizo's employees are wonderful, and I appreciate them all endlessly for what they bring to the hobby. Paizo kept TTRPGs alive during the GSL days and managed to set the bar for inclusivity and accessibility. PF2 has brought me and my gaming group so much joy, and the worldbuilding is just gorgeous lately.

I have been playing Pathfinder since I converted over during the 3.5 years.
What the system does, it does VERY WELL and it is one of my favorite systems.

Yeah, Paizo and Pathfinder (both 1E and now getting into 2E) have given me countless hours of fun with my groups over the past 13 years, and I definitely hope you continue to publish top-notch content for many many years to come. Thank you!

Deeply appreciate for a d20 fantasy game that cares about inclusion and accessibility - and with such consistently-shiny production values, too!
Being a union shop is the cherry on top.

Paizo is the only company I actually want to buy and wear merch from because I like their products, staff, and the cut of their jib. No place is perfect, of course, but I like Paizo's integrity and passion.

Lol. I took this as an opportunity to order a bunch of 2E books I didn't have hard copies of.
Been on the Paizo train when my group switched from 3.5e, will continue to support them wherever this new OGL situation takes them.
Yep, after thinking about how much I appreciate the work Paizo does, I bought a bunch of books & started up some more subscriptions. Now my problem is that I just finished building some bookshelves and am going to need more space again...
I've loved Starfinder since the first time I played it. My SFS character is one of the few continuing characters I've ever had (since I don't have a regular group, my play is mostly limited to convention one-shots), and I always enjoy playing him and exploring the game's magnificent universe.
I've only recently created a character in PFS2 that I want to stick with, but I've been having a blast playing him too.
Thank you for all you do, and may both Pathfinder and Starfinder continue to thrive for many years to come.
Glad to hear you like SF - with juggling several PF campaigns I haven't had the chance to try it out yet, but I'm definitely intrigued by a sci-fi RPG. I'd read through some Traveler stuff in the past which seemed like a very cool universe but coming from Pathfinder the system and rules just seemed so vague.

I am just concluding the last couple of combats for Rise of the Runelords (the first AP we've run) before going to the second portion of Shackled City. We use a 3.5/PF1 hybrid extensively compiled by me, in large part thanks to the Archives of Nethys. (It's pretty wild at 18th level with six mid-high optimised PCs, to say the least...!)
(Also playing through Wrath of the Righetous on PC.)
But, though PF2 isn't really something I'm too bothered about, for NO APPARENT REASON, today I felt like I needed to COMPLETELY INEXPLICABLY give Paizo some money, so I bought the Impossible Lands to read.
(As I have already bought like every campaign settings country/location source book for 1E, also being the only game world I've bought stuff just to read for fun.
I also GENUINELY have more APs stored away than I think my group will use (at a rate of one AP book/six months) if I ran continuously, since I reckon in another 30 years (which is, like, 10 AP, tops), I think we'll all rather be past it because the group will be in their 70/80s... And we lost another player ovelock down already and he was obly 36...)
(We'd have played more Starfinder (a little disappointed in wasn't 1E In Space, but I wasn't running it; but lockdown meant the DM moved away, so I'm back to being DM Forever.)
