Interest Check: Any demand for The Dragon's Demand?

Recruitment

Recently got my hands on this adventure, and I'm wondering if there'd be any interest since a quick search of Recruitments has shown me that it's been run on the boards before.

No need to build a full character, just an elevator pitch of the type of PC you would like to play so I can get an idea of what type of group might come together to take on this task.

These are the general guidelines I'd be running with:

1) Paizo only. No third party materials.

2) 20 point buy. Core Classes and Races, all accepted. Base classes possible, but on a case by case basis. Give me a good reason to allow them, in character.

3) No Evil. All other alignments allowed, but with the understanding that the party needs to function, and it'll be up to the characters to have a reason to be working with the group without actively trying to sabotage it.

4) Supposedly the game will to take characters from level 1 to 7. My intention is to follow through, all the way, and hope to enlist players who think likewise. To prevent burnout, I'll only require 4 posts a week. Obviously I'd hope for more, like the usual 1/day, but life happens. Communication is key.

5) New comers to Pathfinder & PbP are welcome.

For now, this isn't a recruitment, just a check...but if there's enough interest, that will change. So what do you say, folks?

Welcome to the boards GM Sarffleflox and thanks for being willing to run a game! I think you'll find that there will be plenty of interest in 'Dragons Demand'!

Dragon's Demand is almost 10 years old now! Still a fun module, and I'm sure you'd get interest. Welcome to the forums and thanks for running it! As a side note, I ran it before as a GM - if it's not a problem, please count with my submission if you decide to go for it.

Welcome, and I'd be up for it if you ran it. Not sure how quickly I could get a character designed for it but depending on how long recruitment is, you got one person interested.

Dark Archive

I would be interested in playing. My character idea is a paladin of Erastil who's interested in the town founder's dragon-hunting heritage and dreams of slaying a dragon himself one day.

I was a player in a pbp of this, sadly it didn't go very far. We only finished the first dungeon. I was so interested in what would happen next.

Call me aboard!

I'm in!

Avogadro would be my pitch. He was originally made for a Dragon's Demand game that went south. He's been adapted since so I need to pull him into line with your criteria. He remains my most beloved character, despite the fact I haven't really ever been able to play as him.

Long story short: yes!

I’d be down. Seems like a fun little adventure.

Liberty's Edge

That sounds like fun...count me in!!!

There was a Dragon's Demand recruitment that got quite a lot of interest two or three months ago, so you can probably count on many applications.

I know you said no third party, but there's a 3rd party "Player's Guide" for this module floating around, if it's something you might be interested in. Link.

Wow. That's rather cool. I'll have to look it over, but maybe I'll use it. Thanks.

More interest here! With core classes I’m thinking a flamewarden ranger using sword and shield combat style.

Couple of questions:
What are you planning to do for combat?
Have you considered using background skills? It’s pretty popular on the boards.

I'm interested. Don't have any definite character ideas yet, but I'm leaning towards a forest scout type.

Interesting. You can see it's 3rd party, as I found a glaring mistake in my first read-through:

page 6: Hunclay. [...] If you’re a wizard, alchemist, or other [...]
page 7: All core classes, and advanced classes allowed, with the following
exceptions: alchemist[...]

To be fair, Paizo isn't known for their editing prowess.

Dragon's Demand is probably one of the best storylines ever.
I will submit Zephyrrr.
