Skald multiclass

Advice

Looking at multiclassing my skald after 10th level.
Currently an archer, so I was looking at slayer or ranger. Any thoughts on this would be good. What else would help this guy out. Currently I am the party buffer and ranged damage dealer.

Arrow Champion Swashbuckler or Hooded Champion Ranger could give you a Panache Pool to use with your bow.

What are you actually looking to accomplish by multiclassing?

Warrior Poet Samurai gets access to Shot on the Run. And Resolve.

Just looking at being a little more effective in combat. I basically buff the first two or sometimes three rounds and then fire away. However I am finding it harder to connect effectively.

Are you keeping Heroism up on yourself? How about Greater Invisibility? Improved Precise Shot? Deadly Aim & Rapid Shot giving you too many penalties? What about retraining into an Archetype that helps your accuracy, like Urban and/or Totemic? Red Tongue and share some teamwork combat feats?

What about a single level in Medium, with Spirit Focus(Champion) and Spirit-Bonded armor enchant for +3 to hit and +5 to damage?

More info please...
Race, archtype, current feats, campaign/setting...?

I'd suggest taking up levels in one of the prestige classes that progress your existing class: Exalted, Mortal Usher, or (probably a good fit for you) Chernasardo Warden. The damage boosts against any non-construct creature alone is worth considering Mortal Usher.

If those don't seem appealing, or are just not an option, see if you have options to retrain your class levels.

Okay.
Race half orc fated champion skald 8
Feats.:skalds vigor, point blank shot, precise shot, lingering performance ( used it so I can do people’s revolt giving the 2 front liners a +8 to strength and con)

Campaign: iron fang

Group make up: dwarf sorcerer(uses wisdom for spells), Goliath Druid, me, dwarf two weapon fighter.

First round is usually song, and good hope. Sorcerer then usually casts haste. Then fire away unless a wand or spell is needed.

Chernasardo warden may be very appropriate. We just recently slew a dragon and I have already started collecting trophies.

Weapons that matter: +1 flaming orc hornbow adaptive, bracers or greater archery

Chernasardo Warden is pretty legit... Aligned Class should progress the action economy improvements to starting your Performance... song, or whatever it is for Skalds. Which is better than every other option that doesn't do that for you. Picking up Overwatch Vortex feats as bonus feats is yet another improvement available to your action economy... interupting the GM's "turn" is awesome. Lol.

So your main problem is to hit? Damage looks good if you hit.
Sneak attack is very difficult for a ranged loud skald, so dont rely on hiding. But ways to make enemies flat Flat footed is a great debuff, like Shatter defences or Killing Flourish if you dip 4 levels slayer. You are allready buffing strength so get intimidating provess and you have a great intimidator.
Cruel enchantment on your bow will stack sickened on top.
Spell storing enchantment for a debuff spell could also help you.

I think you meant Evangelist rather than Exalted there.

You are correct. The hyperlink points to the Evangelist, so ... close enough?

You can take the Blazing Rondo Masterpiece.

If you're not familiar with masterpieces they are alternative performances that a Bard or Skald can acquire by either giving up a feat (rarely worth it) or spell known of a specific level, in Blazing Rondo's case, a 3rd level spell.

Blazing Rondo is a performance that applies haste to the party but the haste bonus is +1 every 4 levels, not just a static +1, this should help with accuracy issues.

At level 13 you get swift action performances and 5th level spells which is a huge jump in ability.

Gallant inspiration is a good spell for missed attacks
