Unsure what this statement means:
"Like when crafting magic items, a creator with a sufficiently high skill bonus may ignore these requirements."
For example:
"The pieces of a wood golem are assembled from blocks of fine wood and sprinkled with rare powders and crushed herbs worth at least 300 gp.
CL 7th; Price 19,300 gp
Requirements Craft Construct, alarm, animate objects, cat’s grace, geas/quest, limited wish, creator must be caster level 12th; Skill Craft (carpentry) DC 17; Cost 8,800 gp"
What part of construction does the craft skill bypass?

Poorly worded; it just means you can skip specific requirements One by one by increasing the DC of your craft skill check. You can bypass alarm, animate objects, cat’s grace, geas/quest, and limited wish, adding 5 to the DC for each one you lack.
You can’t bypass the Craft Construct feat, nor can you bypass the minimum caster level, which is particularly confusing because you can bypass the caster level for everything except constructs.

Crafting and Bypassing Requirements: What crafting requirements can you bypass by adding +5 to the DC of your Spellcraft check?
As presented on page 549 of the Core Rulebook, there are no limitations other than (1) you have to have the item creation feat, and (2) you cannot create potions, spell-trigger, or spell-completion magic items without meeting their spell prerequisites. So racial requirements, specific spell requirements, math requirements (such as "caster level must be at least three times the enhancement bonus"), and so on, are all subject to the +5 DC rule.

Relevant rule: http://legacy.aonprd.com/coreRulebook/magicItems/magicItemCreation.html
To create magic items, spellcasters use special feats which allow them to invest time and money in an item's creation. At the end of this process, the spellcaster must make a single skill check (usually Spellcraft, but sometimes another skill) to finish the item. If an item type has multiple possible skills, you choose which skill to make the check with. The DC to create a magic item is 5 + the caster level for the item. Failing this check means that the item does not function and the materials and time are wasted. Failing this check by 5 or more results in a cursed item (see Cursed Items for more information).
Note that all items have prerequisites in their descriptions. These prerequisites must be met for the item to be created. Most of the time, they take the form of spells that must be known by the item's creator (although access through another magic item or spellcaster is allowed). The DC to create a magic item increases by +5 for each prerequisite the caster does not meet. The only exception to this is the requisite item creation feat, which is mandatory. In addition, you cannot create potions, spell-trigger, or spell-completion magic items without meeting their spell prerequisites.

Even more relevant rule:
The Craft Construct feat allows a spellcaster to create all manner of permanent constructs in a process much like magic item creation. Each construct has a purchase price and a crafting cost, along with a list of requirements and the skills used to create them. Some require special materials in addition to the cost for basic crafting supplies, generally for the construct’s body. Special material costs increase both the purchase price and the crafting cost of the construct. The DC to craft a construct is 5 + the default caster level of the construct, just like for a magic item. Like when crafting magic items, a creator with a sufficiently high skill bonus may ignore these requirements. Each missing requirement increases the Craft DC by 5. Regardless, the creator must meet all item creation feats and minimum caster level requirements. Crafting a construct takes 1 day per 1,000 gp in the item’s base price, excluding any special material costs. This process is identical to the process for crafting a magic item, including the rules for accelerating creation and handling interruptions.

So the craft skill can be used in place of the Spellcraft check for dc+5 modifiers is the intention.
not at all.
For magic items, you can generally use either spellcraft OR a specific craft skill for the craft check to craft the item. This choice generally has no effect on the DC or what requierements can be bypassed.

No, they don't get the option to make a spellcraft check, they can only make the skill check listed in the construction requirements.
As Lelomenia notes, for crafting regular magic items, you have the option to use a craft skill or spellcraft. This is because spellcraft is listed as an option for the skills associated with their creation. If this weren't true, they could only use one of the associated skills.

You can't bypass the item creation feat requirement when crafting in general, and you can't bypass the caster level requirement when crafting constructs.
that is a very well made chart. my only addition to it would be to state at the 'roll skill check' box, for making the item, that you are allowed to take 10 when crafting (unless specific things prevent it)

Thanks for the feedback! Here's an updated version of the chart.
