Restriction: Characters with the trapfinding ability (like rogues) can disarm magic traps. A magic trap generally has a DC of 25 + the level of the spell used to create it.
The spells fire trap, glyph of warding, symbol, and teleportation circle also create traps that a rogue can disarm with a successful Disable Device check. Spike growth and spike stones, however, create magic hazards against which Disable Device checks do not succeed. See the individual spell descriptions for details.
Our party currently does not have anyone with the trapfinding ability. My PC has a high perception and Disable Device. We are getting to the levels where magic traps become more common and can be nasty... Can anyone think of a magic item that will allow a PC to disarm magical traps ?

Wand/Staff of Dispel Magic (or greater), or if your PCs are less sensitive about killing off innocent creatures... Any item that creates or summons cannon fodder for you to trigger the trap with.
Or, you know. Someone could actually take a level of Rogue and be done with the issue. That is something that I did in my Giantslayer campaign. I ended up taking two levels of Rogue because ... Evasion is handy.

Found something for you!
Wand of Trapfinder's Focus + Use Magic Device. Or just have access to the alchemist, bard or sorc/wiz spell lists.

Oh boy, as if Rogues weren't already easy to replace. Lol.
Now any Half-Elf with Arcane Training can fill the role without even needing UMD, or levels in a spellcasting class... and most importantly, no levels in Rogue. Awesome.
Well, no. They still need to invest a significant amount of skill points in Disable Device (possibly Skill Focus too) and, if they lack Evasion and Uncanny Dodge, they are putting themselves in direct danger from trying to pick up that role.
Also, you have to find someone to make and SELL you that wand. It would be a custom magic item anyway. Lots of places for a GM to go "Hmm, nope."

It's a campaign trait, but finding Haleen does the job. Some GMs might prefer it to a wand of Aram Zey's/trapfinders focus.
If you're not trying to be stealthy then summoning something into the trap may do the trick, if it doesn't reset immediately.
A [teleportation] or blink spell to bypass traps is often enough.
