Failing to login or add to cart

I've been trying to login to my account on my PC and I'm unable to. I've tried Firefox, Chrome and Egde, all three just go back to the previous page without logging it. I've also tried on my phone and the only web browser that works is Samsung's browser.

Also been trying to purchase a book/pdf and found that nothing adds to the cart. Luckily I found that I can get access via my phones browser, the chrome app on my phone doesn't work btw.


I'm not having any problems using Firefox on a laptop.

Some standard suggestions when people are having problems:

1. Clear your cache.
2. Clear the Paizo cookies.
3. Try a different ISP. (for example, try logging in from a coffee shop or library).

It's possible that one of the servers on the route between your home and Paizo's servers has a caching issue. That's when trying to access the Paizo servers via a different ISP sometimes works.

Usually there's no way to detect or clear those, but they also usually clear up in a few hours without any action on your part.

THANK YOU! for the last 2 days I am having the same issue across multiple computers.This started for me when the website failed to load, I tried logging in from an order link in and email and it failed.

Just tried on my phone and as you can see I am in

I cleared history on the pc's and tried multiple browsers

Was starting to worry my account had issues.

When trying to log in it looks like it tries then kicks me back to the screen I was on without logging me in.


I've cleared my cache and history on all my browsers PC and phone. I can login via my phone on the same internet connect as my PC via Samsungs browser app but not Chrome. I even tried my wife's account and it still had the same issue. I've tried a VPN, and used my 4g with the same affect. I've tried a different laptop using firefox that is barebones same results. If I can't login to two different accounts how many others have the same issue and can't post for help for that same reason.


I've had the same problem with Firefox and Brave. Fortunately I have a Chrome version where I don't clear the cache and delete cookies. That's how I'm able to still be logged in. But if I try to login through one of the other browsers where I've cleared cache and cookies and restarted, etc. it just takes me back to the login or homepage and I'm still not signed in. Was working fine across all browsers and platforms up until yesterday.


I can log in through my cellphone. Though not through Chrome and Edge.

Tried from a third computer that had my login saved. It is allowed to login and post. Seems to be computer specific but it is definitely an issue on all browsers on my effected pc's. Sadly it is on my main work and home pcs that have the issue.

Also tried incognito and cleared histories on them. Does not allow me to log in.


Have been having similar difficulties over the last 3 days.

Cleared caches, tried IE, Chrome, Safari. Attempted Incognito. Got paizo to resend me a new password. Nada.

Have just got in on IE by trying and re-trying and re-trying the resent password, and it finally worked!

No idea if it’s a fluke or what.

Hey folks - Over the past few days we've encountered an issue with session IDs not persisting properly, which resulted in logging in not actually logging you in. We're all staying late here at the office (virtually) to get this fixed so you all can log in over the weekend, and we're hoping to roll within the next few minutes.

We expect that will fix the issue for everyone, but in the event it doesn't, here are a few workarounds. These techniques force the session IDs to behave themselves:


  • If you have been logged in on a device, that session should continue to work. If you log out, you should still be able to log in again so long as you didn't clear your cookies in the meantime.
  • Try clearing your cookies, then point your browser to any forum page and immediately log in from there. Don't travel to the home page or other top-level pages until you've logged in.
  • Try clearing your cookies, then add a product to your cart while not logged in, then log in. Feel free to remove the product from your cart after logging in.

Not sure if you guys fixed it on your end or if what I did fixed it on mine, but I followed your steps and then closed all browsers and was able to log in at the front page again.

Thanks for the assist, not being able to log in was a serious pain.

This is what I did:

Try clearing your cookies, then point your browser to any forum page and immediately log in from there. Don't travel to the home page or other top-level pages until you've logged in. Then I closed all browsers and opened Chrome went to the front page and it allowed me to log in.

Mind you, previously I had cleared all cookies multiple times, the trick must have been to log in to a specific forum page?

Logging in to a specific forum page did the trick for me. I'm now able to log in via my PC. Thought it didn't work trying to login from the homepage. Seems like there's a serious issue, and this is a workaround.


I have the same problem, log in from my home PC does not work. I tried several browser and deleting the cache as well as resetting the password, none of which helped.

Thank you for the tip with the phone, logging in with the Samsung Browser works for me, too.

I then tried my laptop, from a different network. I apparently was still logged in with an old session in Chrome on the laptop. Here I got prompted to reset the password (see above), and afterwards could use the website normally.
I still cannot log in with my home PC.


Just a heads up that I had this problem happen today. The add item to cart method worked in letting me log back in though.


I’m having this problem as well. Cannot seem to log in via PC, but have access through my phone.

This seems to be an ongoing issue. I noticed this a couple months ago when I was activating a Humble Bundle of PDFs. And again today, when I wanted to see if I would get a discount for the PF2 Beginner's Box Foundry VTT module.

Thankfully, I found this forum post and tried logging in here rather than from Paizo's main website.
