As a Slayer Talent, a Slayer may select a Ranger Combat Style
Benefit: The slayer selects a ranger combat style (such as archery or two-weapon combat) and gains a combat feat from the first feat list of that style. He can choose feats from his selected combat style, even if he does not have the normal prerequisites. At 6th level, he may select this talent again and add the 6th-level ranger combat feats from his chosen style to the list. At 10th level, he may select this talent again and add the 10th-level ranger combat feats from his chosen style to the list.
Now my confusion is in the wording in bold. Does this mean if I haven't selected the Talent earlier, at level 6 I cannot add the next level of feats?
Example
Level 6 Slayer, and up until now has not selected the Ranger Combat Style talent. Now they have, they decide to go Archery. Are they allowed access to Point Blank Master or Manyshot?

The RAW does seem to suggest that you need to take ranger combat styles via slayer talents at almost exactly the same levels as a ranger would gain their combat style (2nd or 4th, then 6th, then 10th) if you want to get more than the 2nd level version of the combat style.
Personally I'd let a player take the 2nd level combat style at 8th, then the 6th level CS at 10th, then the 10th level CS at 12th if they wanted, but that doesn't appear to be RAW.

it looks more like the levels mentioned are just the minimum to take it the second and the third time but you can't take it for the first time at 10th level and pick a 10th level combat style feat. you get 2/6/10 in order.

According to RAW, Sanctified Slayer couldn't select it at all

I strongly disagree. Such things are inclusive in Pathfinder. The Study Target description, for instance, says "At 7th level, a slayer can study an opponent as a move or swift action." Do you think that this ability stops working at 8th level? Of course not. The literally only way to read these abilities is that the "at 7th level" is shorthand for "starting at 7th level...". So why should the talent behave differently than the other class feature? The majority of class features, for all classes, use the same language*; but not just fixed ones, either - for example, the Armor Skin vigilante talent says "At 8th level, he can move at full speed in medium armor."
I do agree that you need to take it more than once to access the higher levels, but you can take them at any level at or above what's stated.
*) The books seem to be all over the place regarding using "Starting at" and "At", mixing it up even within one class. Fighter for instance uses "Starting at" for almost all abilities, but not for Armor Mastery. Barbarian uses "At", except for Tireless Rage.

You can take it the first time at any level you have a slayer talent for. The second time you take it, you're required to be level 6+ and it opens up the 6th level ranger combat style feats as choices. The third time you take it, you're required to be level 10+ and it opens up the 10th level combat feats.
To put it simply:
Times | Minimum |Available
Taken | Level⠀⠀⠀⠀| Combat Feats
---------+----------------+------------
1 ⠀⠀⠀| 1⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀| 2nd
2 ⠀⠀⠀| 6 ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀| 2nd, 6th
3 ⠀⠀⠀| 10⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀| 2nd, 6th, 10th

Other than getting the minimum level for the first time it is chosen willumontu is correct. Slayers don’t get their first talent until 2nd level so the earliest it can be taken is 2nd not 1st.
To clarify, the only reason I said 1st level, was I'm unsure if there's any archetypes that get a talent at 1st level (and I don't feel like checking each one). If there is one, there isn't a minimum level req on the talent for the first time, so you could take the it then.
