I want to play a support class in a Carrion Crown campaign.
I'm playing a Evangelist Cleric with Freedom subdomain, Desna as deity. I don't want to change this for roleplaying reasons.
I can change my class, because the DM has allowed it before making it to level 2.
How can I support my party? I'm playing a reach Cleric with Lingering Performance, but in all honestly, I don't feel like playing a full caster class, they are too powerful.
I thought about going Rage Prophet, or multiclassing to fighter to have lesser spellcasting capabilities, but I'm not sure this helps in support the party.
We're playing online with Fantasy Grounds.
What options do I have, without using extremely complicated builds. I usually like doing damage, having options to buff allies and I know I need to be able to remove statuses and such.
My stats are 16 14 14 10 14 10
I need ideas on how to support allies, I'm not THAT much familiar with builds. I even considered going mystic theurge, as long as I don't get more than 6 level spells. But then I can only do spells to help the party and my STR and reach would be useless

So you want to consider another class, but you think evangelist reach cleric is too powerful, but you dont want to change your stats is that all right? I dont know of a solution, ...nm i uust though sort of one, dragon order cavalier with bodyguard. But the vast majority of support classes have or use charisma a lot.

I can change my stats, that's not a problem

Maybe inquisitor then? They have a lot of the buffs of the cleric class but also Shared Training and a bunch of bonus teamwork feats.
You can still build for reach pretty easily and you get a bunch more skills and some in class boosts to social skills for out of combat utility.

Changing from evangelist cleric to bard seems like it would work. You’d just be a little more bard, a little less cleric than you started out. In combat, you can continue using bardsong or casting buffs when it’s your turn and reach tactics to contribute when it’s not, plus you’ll have a ton more skill points/OOC utility and you’ll be the 6/9 caster you’d prefer. The main problem is that you won’t have the condition removing spells on your spell list though you can get saving finale and there are always scrolls, wands, potions and whatever else a group without a cleric normally does to overcome conditions.

Support depends on what you are supporting. What is the rest of the party like.
Melee fighter with Intimidate, Paladin with 7 INT, Wizard Conjurer (summons incoming).
We're allowed to switch class because of some PFS rule, character MUST be PFS legal.
I'm not sure I should go melee, since we already have 2 people doing it.
We're lacking Stealth, skill monkey character, Carrion Crown campaign.
We're also short on diplomacy, since our Paladin doesn't seem to roll that, or even try it, he's like a dumb character, but good hearted.

Bard seems like a good pick.
You could try a DIRGE BARD for Carrion Crown (I haven't played a Dirge Bard, it looks good but i don't know how good it actually is).

A Dirge Bard would be great for Carrion Crown. But, since they are able to summon undead, you might want to check to see how well that will blend with having a Paladin in your group. You can add the Sound Striker archetype with Dirge Bard too, which is a nice combo. Being able to do sonic damage is handy.

I'm pretty confident I'm going with a Solacer Bard. I don't lose anything important, except Versatile Performance
Go to Paizo Inc..
I get access to Heal, and some good things with it, so I can be the party "healer" if necessary.
I'm still a bit worried about Divine spells. I won't have 14 WIS, how much hard will it be to get a successful role for UMD?

Opting out of this mostly because Paladin, lol, don't want any issues
