Rules Questions

I ran into some interesting mechanics about pledging to some order or another. it gave benefits and sometimes feats, but had requirements. kind of like monk vows but it wasnt monk vows.

Anyone know what it is?

Paladin vows?

Orders make me think Cavalier orders.

But...it could be a lot of stuff. Or even homebrew. Do you have more details?

Deific Obedience and/or any of the prestige classes associated with it (Evangelist/Exalted/Sentinel)? You could try looking at Prestige classes, that kind-of describes a few of them.

If it was on d20, it might have been PoW's martial traditions. That's the only thing besides cavalier orders I can think of.

There were social groups that characters could get into based on their deeds, reputations, levels, etc. (I can't remember the name).

These were sort of like prestige classes but you qualified for them and 'leveled' in them based on scores rather than XP.

They were campaign specific and gave bonuses to various things that the campaign thought were important.

s%&+, it was martial traditions.

damn, of course it had to be third party.

thank you willuwontu.
