Grease is my favorite lvl 1 spell, it's trip when you cast and area denial that can trip who dare to move that space. It's useful forever.
Synesthesia from Occult, the best spell in the game in my opinion, Clumsy 3, dazzled and spell failure even if the target makes the save.
Resilient Sphere, super versatile, can protect in emergencies and can take a round of the opponent or an action and their best attack on their turn.

Grease is a classic and is a pretty awesome spell.
Synesthesia does look awesome as a debuff.
Do people think Imperial or Draconic bloodline makes a better base for a sorcerer that doesnt use its focus spells? and what school is good for Arcane Tattoos feat chain (from LOCG); was thinking abj for imperial bloodline (shield; feather fall; glyph of warding) or evo for draconic (electric arc; gust of wind; wall of wind)?
Lost Omens Character Guide is the best thing to happen to sorcerer's so far in my opinion.

I really like hideous laughter, for a low level spell, because it doesn't have the incapacitate trait, and the level 2 version remains handy against high level targets (which may well have reactions you want to stop them from using enough to be worth the cost of sustaining the spell).

I can't wait until my players get to use synesthesia, or I get to use it against them.
My all-time favorite spell remains silent image (or illusory object in this edition)
Can you give an example of Silent Image being used awesomely? I know there are infinite possibilities, just looking for some actual in-game moments.

This probably warrants its own thread...
Once in a LoF game, our party reached an abandoned monastery infested by pugwampi gremlins. After we killed a few of them, we reached a hall with most of the tribe and their chieftain. That's where our barbarian decided to Intimidate them by pretending to be a prophet of the gnoll demon lord. As he was giving his speech, my bard, hidden nearby, used Silent Image to conjure fiery halo and smoky wings behind his back. GM decided it was worth such a bonus on the check, that the pugwampis promptly declared the barbarian their God-king and obeyed his every whim.

My favorite spell might well be eclipse burst for the "fwoom" sound it makes as it envelops my enemies' armies.

I general, my favorite way to use silent image/illusory object is by using it to obfuscate my actions.
One example was using sleight of hand to palm a valuable object from a table in plain sight in the middle of a conversation - and cast a concealed silent image immediately to replace the stolen object with none the wiser.
