Looking for assistance...

'Lo all.

Longtime lurker, first time post. I'm going to be starting in my first PF game soon. I've settled on playing a Dwarven Ranger focused on TWF.

I've perused the guides for Rangers and although helpful, they don't specifically touch upon the idea for TWF with the Dwarven Waraxe.

Starting at level one my stats are looking like:

Str 16
Dex 12
Con 16
Int 12
Wis 14
Cha 7

I'm looking for assistance in regards as to what to use as my off-hand weapon. I was thinking possibly shield, but wasn't sure if that would be optimal.

I'm also looking for assistance with feat selection, at least through level 16(as we're running the Kingmaker Path).

Any one that can offer assistance would be awesome in my book!

Are you playing in a D&D 3.5 game using the Pathfinder setting? Or are you playing a Pathfinder RPG game? If its the latter you may want to get this thread moved (if that can be done on these forums) to Pathfinder RPG General Discussion sub-forum rather than the D&D 3.5 / d20 / OGL subforum.
