To be honest I'm following Paleo principles but I'm not Paleo. And Paleo doesn't mean you should eat your meats raw. Get cooking!
But basically the key to losing weight(at least for me):
Stop having sugary drinks and deserts(like ice creams)
Stay away from processed foods.
Take grains, breads and starchy carbs out your meals, then replace them with bean stews. Your pizzas turn into zucchini boats of various flavours.
Exercise.
The trick is to keep yourself full without hitting too much calorie damage. You might want something like Samsung health or even better, a Fitbit to track your calories in and calories out, I use Samsung health to track nutrients while Fitbit is for the calorie estimate.
Therefore you want lots of proteins and vegetables(for fibre). And a microwave + fridge at work because I'm a cooked vegetable snob and refuse to live on salads.
The good side to all this? Since everything is controlled, I feel full, satisfied and don't have to deal with eating something that didn't sit too well with my stomach.
The beans may cause issues if you're already having gout,so don't try that if so.

Yeah cutting back on sugars is already working for me pretty well. I've been down 10 pounds over the last month even while relaxing my diet and exercise because of the surgery.

So I wanna make Sun Wu Kong in pathfinder. Vanara brawler who uses a staff as well as unarmed. Trying to figure out how to give him some of his more iconic abilities like shape shifting. I don't think their is a way to clone oneself. basically just trying to get him as close as possible with in reason.

Could you use ninja and do the shadow clone thing? Or even a staff magus? You can shape shift all you like if it makes you happy...

For a cup of bubble tea,its 335 calories. A white chocolate mocha from Starbucks is around 360 calories.
In comparison, my dinner of:
150g broccoli
100g cauliflower
120g chickpeas
90g sesame chicken
Is about 414 calories.
The sugary drink wouldn't keep you full for very long, but my dinner was enough to keep me happy through a 7 km run.

Hmm I don't want all the other stuff that comes along with magus. I could get mirror images from a magic item or something.
Sun Wukong was known for his 72 transformations, his cloud riding skills, his ability to enlarge and diminish himself, if you want to look at it from the story perspective. He's also rather smart and creative.

Yeah altering his shape and forms is the part I'm tripping up with. I'm thinking I can get a magic cloud somehow >.>...

Magic carpet that looks like a cloud.

Yes that would be good enough for me.

Apples are good at keeping you full,as are oranges. But the real winners are the beans. Or if you don't mind ending up bloated, coconut flesh. Could have saved myself a lot of money had I managed to eat the coconut flesh right from the start at the food fair, instead of feeding myself on various meats.

I am looking forward to trying a stir fry involving prawns, eggplant, cucumbers and oyster sauce one of these days. That is if I figure I can eat lentils(the answer is likely a yes, since Im a farking glutton with no standards). Apparently my weekly average calorie intake for last week/day was around 1748. Expenditure around 2184/day.
I actually planned everything rigorously, and according to plan, can get protein, fibre, iron, vitamin A, vitamin C, potassium, calcium settled for about 1295 calories. Samsung health does not let you track other nutrients. And not bust any saturated fat meters. But that's not including the random fruits I will inevitably nom throughout the day.
Topping up calories is as simple as drinking another glass of milk/having some eggs. Or indulging in some nuts.

If you build Sun Wukong as a Chinese version of a ninja (or unchained ninja), the shadow clone trick will get you the mirror image effect.
Do you have Dreamscarred's Ultimate Psionics? You might like the (psionic) menteur [rogue archetype] Change Shape talent; you could modify that into a ninja trick that instead expends 1 or 2 ki points in place of expending psionic focus. There is the sudden disguise ninja trick, but it only lasts a minute and as an illusion it doesn't fool audible (his voice) or touch Perception checks.
As a ninja, he could take the major magic urogue talent to gain either enlarge person or reduce person as a spell-like ability. The bookish rogue feat will let him change his minor and major magic abilities when he rests.
Couldn't you just have a ninja trick that expends ki points to create a mount or phantom steed spell just reskinned to look like a cloud? Edit: I'm stealing this idea for my own new unchained rogue archetype that I was working on. Thanks!

The end of the time I won't need my light work t-shirts to walk dogs is pretty much coming to end that's for sure.
Also I'm looking forward to wearing jeans again...not that I'm against jean shorts...but being outside and if I have to walk in tall grass...well you can see why that might be problematic.

I do have that book. I'll look it over. Does anyone have any experience with the shifter? I was gonna look into that.

Doesn't sound bad. I've recently found out that I like egg plant.

Shifter is kinda like the Swashbuckler, a lot of fun to play, kinda boring to level up as there is less customization.
