When I had my heart attack last year I was actually in my cardiologist's office having an EKG. The nurse looked at it, panicked, ran to the doctor and came back with a wheelchair. "You're having a heart attack right now!" Talk about a surprise.
Geez, talk about timing indeed! ;)
And,... proof that not ALL surprises are good ones, unfortunately,...
;P

Oh, if I only had a nickel for every time...
Funny you should mention timing and proctology in the same post. I got a letter from mine saying it was time for another visit. Sigh...I'm collecting specialists now.
Sigh,
I know the feeling. It didn't annoy me nearly so much when it was just my wife collecting specialists, but now that I am too,... Thppppt!
:P

On the next "As the Puppies play" kind of soap. Galway has STOPPED trying to bark or growl at Conwy when he comes in from me walking him.
So that's an improvement. Also I think if I keep spending my money on groceries so my brother can cook...I might get out of this week with something akin to respect from him. (Not that he and I aren't okay with each other...but you know how it can be between siblings. )
Mom is still hurting from surgery but at least she's able to eat.

'Hey there, jitterbugs! Ya got a scrib' that's a ringin', dingin, pipteroo? Then sweep ya peepers over it, and once you're done, shimmy on down to the prof trough, then it's soda fountain time!!!'
It doesn't have to be contemporary slang, right?'

It's raining. I love rainy days. My dogs, however, do not. They really need to go for a walk and I can tell they're getting uncomfortable because they haven't. But they, especially Rosie, will behave like she's drowning if she gets a single drop on her. I'm on constant "don't pee on the floor!" alert.

So I bought some Cheddar Peppers from Sonic earlier. I thought they were cool enough to eat when I popped one into my food intake port. The inside of my mouth now feels like I tried to drink lava. Next time I'll remember to leave them to cool for about 18 hours before eating one.
Were you observed by three mouthy robots while you put one in your food intake port?

Not that I noticed. I was too busy screaming and trying to spit the magma out of my mouth while driving.

You have my sympathies. I came home from work to find Ace's cage rather ... distressed. I've spent the past hour cleaning it and him up.

Glad to hear she's improving!
So I saw a post recently,...
Them-"Have you ever had a person that you really like, but sometimes just really hate too?!?"
Me-"So, do you have siblings?"

Rag,
Galway is a boy. Just like Rory. So is Conwy. But today was kind of set back because Rory REALLY laid into Conwy something we've never seen..and it scared everyone. That and the way he kind of looked...wasn't good. But we kept them apart...and that was fine for a while...then it happened just before dinner. So then my brother put Rory in the den for a bit.
They all calmed down for dinner. But like clockwork, the moment I got finished, they were ready for their SECOND long walk.
Hopefully as we get closer to Sunday, this will be an isolated occurrence.

Oh, LOL, sorry,
I meant Im glad your MOM is feeling better! :)Oy, sorry to hear about the dogs.
Hope they figure out their family dynamic. :)

Well it's not been sorted but considering that my brother is probably leaving either tomorrow or Sunday (he's got a presentation/lecture to give on Sunday and he didn't bring the right laptop), it's not quite a huge deal.
Mostly Conwy and Rory seemed to have resolve their differences...in the sense Rory didn't go berserk on Conwy when they both started playing together again.
Though Galway DID kind of pounce on Conwy tonight. Fortunately he's staying down here with me and Rory until the morning.
I wish I had tickets to go see some of the bands that I know are coming to Pittsburgh...but a) not sure I'd get good seats anyway and b) my work schedule is kind of not conducive to figuring out if I'll have time in the summer.

I'll meet her stealing when I should have been buying.
It's funny you mentioned that particular song. When I found out I was going to get to go that was the first U.H. song I played on Youtube!

He did; she offered him horses to overcome his enemies, but unfortunately, anything larger than a dog is Not Allowed under the terms of Cal's tenancy agreement.

To be honest, I am acquaintanced with two Uriah Heep songs, the other would be Wizard.
Check out pretty much any of their stuff from the 70s, like "Stealin'", "Easy Livin'", "Seven Stars", "Salisbury", "Look at Yourself". Most of their stuff, not all, but most since then has been largely crap, which is very sad.

So away goes Conwy back to his home. Missed by Rory, but probably better off since Galway can't seem to settle if they (Rory and Conwy) start into it.
Still it was interesting and nice to have a third dog, if only because it gave Rory someone his own size to rough house with.
Mom and I will be dining in lesser style since I'm not the chef that my brother is. (Though my Mom did say she thought he was making stuff too spicy for her. Which is weird but she explained that her throat was still sore from intubation. So there's that.)
Mostly today is the night I'm going to sleep and not worry about barking dogs (HOPEFULLY!) and the fact the other two can run up and down stairs. Plus less peeing in the house. (Pooping for Conwy wasn't as big...but he did have a few accidents in that area.)
