Today I walked in the woods and was glad even if was chilly there was sun out. Mostly because the overweight Siberian Husky I've got to walk doesn't take the same path every time.

I mentioned I'm in Uni right?
I'm exhausted from a calculus final today. I don't think I did too bad.
I'm starting to forget what my purpose in life is beyond solving integrals.

There is no beyond. There is only solving integrals.

I've been pretty negative lately. Please excuse me while I do maintenance on myself.

Thank you, Monkey Santa. You're always there when I need you.

Ok, I swear there was a post from Monkey Santa just before my reply. Maybe I require more maintenance than I realized.

Now I have to go back to building my leprechaun trap. When that green bastard pops out of the chimney, I'm going to hit him on the head with a hammer till he explodes in a shower of bananas. I love the holidays!

I started my NWN Waking Rune plotline in earnest today. (I've been running Race for the Runecarved Key as a separate prologue, but the actual main plot started today.)
As anyone who is familiar with that plotline might know, the first questline is Rise of the Goblin Guild.
One of the PCs who signed up is a male human Fighter/Weapon Master who is basically the Goblin Slayer from the anime of the same name. (And no I haven't seen it, I only know of it because his player and others reference it constantly in reaction to his antics.)
Things went predictably.
Just another day in the food chain. How is everyone?

Integrals are evils.
That is all.

Thanks! That helps.
Fortunately my class next quarter covers differential equation modeling which looks pretty fun.

Fortunately my class next quarter covers differential equation modeling which looks pretty fun. Why do you always have to focus on equations' differences? Why can't you just look at the things that bring them together? Why do you have to be so divisive?
Dealing with some lower back pain, right now.
Yuck. I hope it eases up for you.

Clearly, you and I are not using the same dictionary.
O_o
You have 'fun' with that!

I've never been banned in a state, but I have been kicked out of a couple of towns, though in fairness, we didn't do what they thought we did.
It turns out, if you have long hair and wear black clothes and you drive around around with a shit load of baseball bats in the trunk (the guy driving was the bat boy for his dad's softball tavern league) that's all the evidence they need.

That presumably made his dad the bat man for the softball tavern league.

Dang it, just a day after I took my desktop PC in for repairs my laptop goes berserk and I'm going to have to send it off for repairs, as well. HP is sending me a box and packaging material sized for it as well as a mailing label for FedEx. So for an unknown span of time, I'll be without a computer. This is completely how I spend my time all day, interacting with friends here and on FB. I can use my phone, of course, but this forum doesn't always work well on the phone. So after this weekend I probably won't be around a whole lot. I'm putting you guys in charge of keeping the thread going. I'm especially putting Monkey Santa in charge as a harsh overlord to make sure things run right.
Dang it.

Monkey Santa is a much better choice than me. I'm in Ohio on a brutal business trip.
I should have the populace subjugated by the weekend, which should allow me to travel back to my lair on Friday evening.

My son's band was just in Cincinnati and Cleveland two weeks ago. They get up that way about twice a year to play clubs and bars and stuff.
Cool! It's one of my son's favorite places to play.

hi, everyone. After sleeping all day yesterday to recover from that brutal 19-hour day on Tuesday, i have to say that i feel much better now.
I positively suck at following maps. I was told in college I may have discalculia (or whatever it's called) and that makes map reading very difficult. It took me 40 minutes to find a place 3 miles from my house. I made it to my destination (FedEx shipper) by spotting a one of the trucks and following it.
