I am just too visually oriented to fantasize about any past person that I can't see a photograph of or (better yet) a film of, so my choices would probably be limited to silent film stars like Josephine Baker and Anna Mae Wong.

I would like to meet Immanuel Kant, but he hated meeting people and found the thought of meeting people to be very stressful.

So, because I'm a nerd (nnneeeeeeeerrrrrrrrrrrrrd), I have, just, like, a ton of questions about how this is supposed to work, mechanically, I mean - do I go there, does the person come here, do we just meet in a null-space, or chat mind-to-mind, or... look, there are just so many cool options!
I'm guessing it's just supposed to be one person. I'm going to intentionally limit it to a face-to-face interaction form of "relationship" rather than any familial bond (though proving myself a direct lineage of various famous people is kind of tempting). Further, to stave off questions of "how it works," I'll shed any nebulous "other-realm" and presuppose we are either in the modern world or the past. As I'm happily married, I'm uninterested in the romantic format. And that just leaves a whole world of people.
To that end, I've got, like, a metric ton of sorting to do.
First and foremost, I would want (in principle) to go see most Biblical figures, because I'm a nerd like that. That said, I'm sick, like, all the daggum time, and I really don't think it's a good idea to bring my super-viruses into their times, nor to bring their immune systems into our times, nor to expose me to diseases I've not had vaccinations against because they don't exist in that form anymore... and so on. So, that limits it greatly to those people that can cure disease. And I've already got a rock-solid relationship with one of those... so, eh.
Similar logic weeds out most ancient-world humans. Though, daggum, I'd love to meet the first people to build a building. Or the first government. Or the first - aaaaggghhh so many cool things!
Most more modern characters that come to mind aren't terribly interesting - I mean, they are, but I'm less enthused about the idea of hanging out with them, either in their setting, or my own. The other side of the coin is, of course, even those who are universally acclaimed might have severe issues in our world, and I'd mostly be seen as a lunatic (a literally-diseased lunatic, at that) in theirs. Still, I'd probably bring them here - over-all it's likely the best outcome.
Further, even if they'd previously died of old age, I'm presuming an effect much like a cyclic reincarnation spell bringing them back in a young adult body.
I probably wouldn't choose anyone tooooooooo modern, as their actually kind of too-close-for-comfort in terms of cultural/political/social fallout from their life and actions, even those who are deceased.
So let's park it back at three-hundred years (1718) or earlier. Ugh, notsomuch a fan (nothing wrong, per se, but it didn't quite grab me). Around then, let's see...
- the man in the iron mask would be intriguing
- Isaac Newton would be fascinating (his mind would be so daggum blown)
- Peter the Great could be interesting
- conversely, Sultan Ahmed III seemed pretty neat
- Iyasu I of Etheopia would honestly probably be the coolest dude from this era
- Emperor Nakamikado of Japan or Shogun Tokugawa Ienbo could be rather fascinating
So probably one of those.

Just because that sounds rad. And, you know, just grabbing every great scientist for four hundred years and putting them together might, you know, be a dream of mine... dang it.)

There is so much more to relationships than just the romantic ones. Most of the historical figures I admire I would not sully the connection with romance or sex - they are people who are better enjoyed intellectually than emotionally
