ACG is Adventure Card Guild.
I have to say I am kinda interestign in ACG myself, but never played before. Where would I go to get started, anyone?

You can download the rulebooks for the base sets for free from their product pages. The Adventure Card Guild Guide is also a free download. There is also an extensive FAQ.

@Jason: I am pretty certain what they mean is, if you sign up for two RPG games, the *first* game can be anything, but the second game has to be either Cosmic Captive (which doesn't have many sign-ups at present), *or* a table that isn't being hosted on the Paizo.com website (on the sign-up sheets, these are usually denoted by a red 'fill' on the table header).

Probably a noob question(and also likely one i've asked before and simply forgotten the answer to because 'is dumb'= true)
Classic means all Paizo legal material, whereas core means only the Core rulebook right?
On that note are these games(Cosmic Captive RPG is the one i'm looking at in particular) Going to be held in PBP or at an actual table?
Lastly does a lvl 5 character qualify for a tier 3-4 game or is it tier 5?

Hi Lynn.
you can read about Core gaming here and read the CORE FAQ here. But basically you must make your character using only the Core rulebook (and a few online documents.) You can choose other options from chronicles as long as you have the book (even if it's not core), but you'll have to complete those scenarios.
The Cosmic Captive games will be held on PbP, on this forum and few other websites.
Level 5 PC in tier 3-4: It depends on the level range of the game you're trying to play. If it's a tier 3-7 game, then it has two subtiers: 3-4 and 6-7. You fit right in the middle, so you CAN play the game, but you'll receive out of tier gold (the average gold reward between those subtiers.)

I've been checking on this recently. Some people have found that their scenario already dropped, even though they did not get an email notice. Some have been dropping in the last 8 hours or so. If in about 24 hours you don't have the scenario in your downloads, please send me an email or private message so I can add you to a list of those who I need to investigate. Please include your Paizo registered email address in such a private message or email so I can check if that is the difficulty.

Is it OK to change characters once you've signed up for a particular tier? I had signed up a 13th level bloodrager for tier 12-13 of Siege of the Diamond City, but now I'd rather play a cleric 10/unchained barbarian 2, in part because I think it would better complement the current party composition (also this is a cleric of Iomedae so bashing demons is sort of her raison d'etre).
Certainly! If your table has already started mustering it's good to let your GM know what you're doing - if not, you can go ahead and adjust your sign-up.
I have a rogue that could play in the Stonelords game. I've never played pbp on discord though. Is it similar to here?

It looks likely that I will have a seat opening up at my Year of the Shadow Lodge 1-2 table. If you are interested head over to the sign up sheet and take the spot. I must remind you of the restrictions on the number of special you can sign up for though, so make sure you follow the rules.

I believe everyone has had a chance to sign up, so at this point, we are changing the restrictions on games. As of now, each player may sign up for two RPG games, as long as they are for different specials and at least one of the two is either Cosmic Captive or else not on Paizo.com. Each player may also sign up at one table of the Adventure Card Game, if they wish.

I have a rogue that could play in the Stonelords game. I've never played pbp on discord though. Is it similar to here?
It is similar, a bit more chat like, and the formatting is slightly different.

Tell Khaoz:
1) Make sure the vacancies are obvious on the Retrocon Player Sign-Up Sheet; and make sure there is a link to the table on the sign-up sheet. I posted a link to that sign-up sheet on Facebook.
2) He can also open his recruitment tab, and post there that he's looking for two players.
3) If someone wishes to play a pre-gen, we do sometimes allow level 7s in a 5-6. There is a whole pregen folder in the PBP GM Kit, and there is a link to that kit in my current profile.
