My favorite author is Simon R. Green, the author of the "Forest Kingdom", "Deathstalker", and "Nightside" series, as well as a few stand-alone novels.
What are your thoughts on this author and his works?
I've only read his Niteside series but i've loved it. I frequently use it and him as a npc in my d20 urban arcana game it seemed like the perfect mesh for me and my group

I've read his Hawk and Fisher stuff - 4 out of six novels very good, the other two are a bit rubbish (they are locked room mysteries, a bit samey and not much fun). They mix a fantasy city with a sort of police mystery adventure (the two chief protagonists are a husband and wife team in the city watch). I read his Forest Kingdom stuff too - a mix of horror and swords and sorcery fantasy. Variable, but the first two are pretty good.
