Request for Help: Archetypes that bring their weapons with them

Advice

Hello Forumites! I am hoping to get some assistance. I am trying to find an archetype that is able to manifest its own weapons, similar to the Soulblade. Did Paizo publish anything like this? I've found the Mindblade Magus, and the Kineticist has the melee infusion, but both of those aren't what I was hoping for - Mindblade is focused on dual wielding, and Kineticist... isn't what I hope for, for a number of reasons to do with how the class was implemented.

There are other classes like the Occultist (transmutation) or Fighter (warrior spirit) who can make good use of found weapons, or improvised weapons, or the blade-focused Bard archetype that gives enhancement bonuses instead of competence boni to attack and damage, but I am looking for something that can actually reliably bring into being/call in their own weapon without it already being artifact-level or mythic. I've looked through lot of archetypes on D20PFSRD, but there's so many I know I haven't hit them all.

Blasphemy as it might be, the 5E Hexblade is actually pretty close to what I would like to find in PF.

A magus can cast a spell like instant weapon or force sword as part of spell combat and get a full attack with it in the same round. Various other classes can cast those spells (or something like holy ice weapon) and attack with the conjured weapon the next round.

If you're willing to look beyond Paizo, Dreamscarred Press have done their own take on this with their psionics, see the soulknife.

Edit: Paizo's phantom blade spiritualist might also suit you.

Bladebound and Mindblade are both magus archetypes that come with weapons.

The Phantom Blade is a spiritualist archetype that can summon and dismiss it's weapon.

Ectoplasmist spiritualist can create a variety of weapon-like effects that eventually get up to 15' reach.

The Blade Adept is an Arcanist archetype that gets the same Black Blade as the bladebound magus, but gets it from 1st level.

All of these can cast spells and attack in the same round, while delivering spells through their weapons.

Kineticist can use there blasts in melee as a weapon, with certain limits.

Metal Mystery Oracle?
You get access to this ability-

Quote:

Iron Weapon (Su): You can create a melee simple or martial weapon that lasts for 1 minute for every oracle level you possess. This weapon is appropriate for your size and entirely made of metal (even if it would normally include non-metal parts, such as a spear's shaft) but functions as if it were a normal weapon of its type. You are considered proficient with this weapon. The weapon disappears after 1 round if it leaves your grasp. At 3rd level, the blade is made of cold iron. At 7th level, 15th level, and 19th level, the blade gains a +1 enhancement bonus. At 11th level, the blade is made of adamantine. You can use this ability a number of times per day equal to 3 + your Charisma modifier.[/url]

Wood oracle can do basically the same for a wooden weapon.

not an archetype but the glove of storing could do what you need. You can have your character call it something else but it'd just be a stando glove of storing.

Mindblade isn't focused on dual wielding, it just is able to. You start out with the ability to summon a light weapon for 1 psychic point, a one-handed weapon for 2 psychic points, and a two-handed weapon for three psychic points. Later on they can summon and maintain 2 weapons, but they aren't required to, and don't gain all that many bonuses for doing so. A STR magus gets a lot out of the 2-handed weapon. Additionally, because how psychic spells are cast, Mindblades are better off focusing on buff spells than damage spells.

Thank you everyone! The Phantom Blade is almost exactly what I was looking for, and I did not know it existed. So is the Soulknife, though that's 3PP... The Mindblade magus may not be dual wielding focused, but it gives up several class features for dual wielding bonuses or abilities related to light weapons. The Blackblade is also really cool, but doesn't have a way (like the Phantom Blade does) to "store" the weapon in a way that cannot be discovered or confiscated.

That said, the Magus + Instant weapon combo is also along the lines of what I was looking for - I'll give that some more thought too.

Monk. : )

about the mindblade, do notice that a lot of the things he give up are useless (or use-impered) for him since he cast spells as a psychic (all the medium\heavy armor things for example, since he doesn't use somatic for spells he can start out in heavy armor from the start if he got the proficiency).

also as some noted he is not set out only on 2 weapon fighting, rather i find that he is open up to all kind of melle fighting style (they made him flexible so he get stuff for 2 handed and two weapon fighting etc) since they locked him up to only bring forth melee weapon they left the fighting style up to you.
