New Beginners Adventures

Pathfinder Society

Hello all. I’m new to the game with some friends and love the game, but I’m also feeling overwhelmed. I’m now looking for some new adventures for players who are still beginners and I’m confused when I’m reading things and there is so much info I’m not sure what to get. Can someone provide some recommendations or some explanations of what Is out there and how to understand it. Thanks.

Absolutely, and welcome to the game!

You are currently in the Pathfinder Society Organized Play forums. Are you interested in Organized Play, or is this for a home game?

Sorry. This is for a home game. I was not aware of what each forum is for yet. I’m hoping to get into organized play. But not quite yet

We'll be here when you want to try it out!

There is a Beginner Box with a module that might be what you want.

We Be Goblins is a fun scenario where you all play as goblins, and it's even free! Plus, if you like that one, there are two sequels and a prequel that are also free.

Crypt of the Everflame is a classic dungeon crawl.

Do any of those sound up your alley?

Yes. Those sound very good. And I do like free. But I don’t mind spending some money as I think pathfinder is a very good product. Are you also aware of any other adventures built for the premade characters in the starter set? And is there a forum good for home gaming? I have probably a million questions and I want you o be in the right area. Thank you for your help

Everything tagged for the Beginner Box can be found here. Many of those were written by third-party publishers rather than Paizo, just so you know. I can personally recommend Into the Feyweald from Legendary Games. It is a wonderful adventure and has my favorite puzzle in any scenario I've run.

There is a specific forum for the Beginner Box here. Have fun gaming!

I also want to recommend Gallows of Madness. You could easily run it for the prebuilt characters in the Beginner Box set. The module has three charming adventures that can all be run for low level characters using only the core book and the first bestiary.

Hmm

Good call from Hilary! That is an awesome module.

Thank you both for all of your help. I’m looking into everything you sent. I’m also looking into organized play. The community seems very friendly and I can’t wait to be a part of it.
