We know there will be 10th level spells for the major casters but what about the 6th level casters. Will they get 7th level spells or will some of these guys no longer get spells at all?

My question is: will the 10th level spells be what the 9th level spell are now, or are they adding a whole new level of power beyond wish and and all the other 9th levels?

My guess is that they are not adding in new more powerful spells. Just adding one level so spell level is level/2 rounded up.

So you get wish at level 19 instead of 17

My guess is that some spells (Wish and Miracle) will be bumped up to 10th, but there will be a whole slew of epic spells made for it as well.

Personally wish and miracle should be the only 10th level spells.

But what if the Bard no longer gets spells just stronger and better bardic music powers that can act as spells like healing, energy resistance, haste, etc, for the whole party.

Spells are an easy way to make Bards customizable without adding like 50000 different songs. You already have those 50000 spells out there, after all!

Ok, in the KD Interview they confirmed that the Spell Levels are 1-10, not 0-9.

BUT

Cantrips still exist, they just don't seem to be called 0 level spells now.

Sorta. They don't run out but at least 1 of them had a 10 minute cooldown.

If they are just dividing the current 1st edition idea/power level of 9th level into 9th and 10th level spells for the next edition then I don't wanna know about it. Give us actually more powerful spells than 9th level.
