If there's enough interest for adding more tables I'm sure the folks in charge will make it so :)Ladile Ladile is wise.
Did we drop the ball? Yes, yes we did. Do we want to fix that? Yes we do. I would like to know how many players missed out. Can you good folks please use the waiting list so we can know? I can’t promise extra tables yet... It depends on how big the wait list is and other factors, but we are looking into this.
Thank you.
Hmm
Turns out I was making a fuss about nothing. I've got a 2nd level PC in a session 1 game who will be level 3 if he survives that, which means I can enter him in a vacant tier 3-3 space for session 2 of the Special.
Problem solved, but I appreciate the input from the Powers That Be to help out.

If demand is stressing the availability of tables maybe some of us fortunate enough to get the full limit of three seats can give some up. I’d be willing to free up two of my spots to get some people off the waitlist.
Well, for anybody on the waitlist with zero seats, please PM me if you'd like to take any of my games. I'll take the first two eligible (core vs. standard, tier, etc.).

Sorry if this has already been answered, but I didn't see it.
In looking at the games spreadsheet and the new column to indicate whether there are empty seats at a table, I noticed that scenarios from seasons 0 to 3 are limited to five players. Can someone explain why that is?
I know we're not short on spots or anything, so I'm not worried about it, just curious to understand it.

Those earlier scenarios were all designed for 4 player parties.
And with power-creep the way it is, even 4 players nowadays can demolish most of them. Six is just way too many.
I was looking at the one I am set to GM, and I figure someone could solo most of it 8P
Those old ones, their idea of upping CR some times is just to add a few more low CR bad guys that were barely even speed bumps to begin with. It's sad really.

I thought that might be the case, since I knew that was how the older ones were written, but wasn't sure, since when those older scenarios are on the schedule at cons or FLGS's, they usually seat six players.
That's because they are trying to get as many players seated as possible, and GMs are a scarce resource for most face-to-face conventions. In our case, players can sit at multiple tables at once, and we have a lot of GMs that want to get in on OutPost. Spreading you all out a bit made sense to us for this.
Hmm

This is my first proper PbP convention, so I'm not sure, but what happens to games that only get, say, two signups instead of the needed 3+?
The answer is that we will try and get you guys more players.
Everyone, we have been keeping a tight cap on player signups until now, largely because in the past PBP conventions had all spots fill within an hour of announcement. That means that new people can never get seated, and folks who come in a little late get disappointed.
That said...

We are raising the number of tables that Players can sign up for to 4 (or 5, if one of the tables that you sign up for is CORE.)
So... If you are reading this, you may sign up for more tables now.

If we sign up for 4 core tables could we also sign up for 2 classic tables? :)

Is it possible to play pregens?
I was fortunate enough to get into two games, but was considering adding one or two more. Unfortunately, I have only a two PCs in tier for any of the remaining games, which I plan to use for upcoming face-to-face games and a convention, so I don't want to tie them up on PbP.

I’m currently signed up on one of the SFS 1-05 tables. I have a bud who I want to play with. I was going to move he and I to the third table, but when looking at the three tables as they are, one table has 3 soldiers, and another has 2 envoys. I’m sure this imbalance exists elsewhere.
Is there a way to try and balance these tables, so one group isn’t loaded with too much of one thing and none of something else?

We may adjust things a little when things get closer. Also, PFS/SFS scenarios are written to that they still turn out fine with imbalanced parties. I would say just sign up together with your friend at whichever table looks best for you right now, and we (i.e. the PbP Venture Team) will decide if we need to do a little adjusting or not later.

The tables for the Pathfinder Adventure Card Game are starting to fill up, which thrills me to no end! Signup Sheet
For tier 1 games, at the moment of this post, there are three seats left at a table of Season of the Runelords, to at Season of the Goblins, and one at Season of Plundered Tombs (which uses Mummy's Mask base set).
In addition, there are two seats left for my table of Season of Plundered Tombs Adventure 3, and the Adventure 4 table is still empty. I wanted to point out that there are pregen characters that can be used to play an adventure 4 scenario, so even if you don't currently have a character at that level, you can play a tier 3 pregen and apply the credit to a character once they get to that tier. If you've already signed up for two other games, and would like to join the Adventure 3 or 4 table, you can sign up for that one in addition to your other two games. This is a special exception to the current policy of two games per player.
If the Adventure 4 scenario continues to be an unpopular choice, and the other tables of tier 1 continue to fill up, I will likely switch that table to tier 1. I had planned these tables so that people could follow along with the storyline as we play, because the storyline is relevant to the Scarab Sages faction, which is becoming inactive at the end of the current season.

My table of Fugitive on the Red Planet currently has 0 players and seeing how the other table only has 3 players I'm not sure it will take of - even though we have about a month left - if one of the VO's wants to change my table to a session of the Starfinder Quests I'm fine with running that instead if people prefer playing that.

****OutPost announcement*****
We have added several more tables of PFS classic games accessible to level 1 characters to the spreadsheet.

Hey everyone,
OutPost is only a month away, so we believe everyone has had a fair chance to sign up for games. Therefore, we are making the following announcement:
*****************OutPost Announcement*********************
Limits on tables per player for all OutPost tables are now removed. You may sign up for more games if you believe you are able to manage more.
**********************************************************
Note: please do not sign up for more games than you can handle. We realize some players thrive on many games at a time, but everyone has their limit.

Hello All.
I also added a new player waitlist for players who are not currently signed up for any OutPost games and need something low level. We may open a last minute table or two of low level games for late comers, new people and ‘walk-ins’ but we need to know that you want to play and how to contact you. Please give us your ID on PAIZO so that we can PM you!
The waitlist is on the first sheet (instructions) for OutPost Recruitment. Feel free to add your information if you are signed up for no other games and want something low level.
We can only add tables at this point if we know there is a demand!
Hmm

ATTENTION ADVENTURE CARD GAME PLAYERS:
Those of you who have signed up for ACG games during OutPost, kindly review this instruction document:
OutPost PACG Instructions.
It details (hopefully) everything you should need to know about participating as a player. I've asked the box runners to create their game threads during the next week, so those links should start showing up on the OutPost Recruitment sheet very soon.
Thanks all!
Tyler

ANOTHER QUICK ADVENTURE CARD GAME ANNOUNCEMENT:
Due to lack of interest in the Tier 4 game that I had planned to run, I'm switching that game to a Tier 1 run of Season of the Runelords. There are currently 5 spots left over on the OutPost Recruitment Sheet, and I'm not enforcing any table number restrictions for that game, so feel free to sign up if you think you'll have time!
It would be a great chance for those of you who haven't ever played the Card Game at all, but happen to have a copy of a class deck that you got at PaizoCon or something like that, to try it out! (Veteran players, I would like to encourage newbies at this table, so perhaps you can give a few days to see if said newbies sign up before you jump in?)
