The Exchange

Reaches down... between his legs... and throws something in true monkey fashion at the raven.

The Exchange

Another way I have seen it done is tracking on the handouts page, but still really hard to keep track. Hero Lab is the way I tend to mostly do it, and even then I miss stuff

The Exchange

The tiny monkey has fallen over in mock exhaustion, at the duration of the warpriest’s blessing. At the moment Gunari raises his mug to drink, the monkey does as well, he then throws a walnut at Lonan the Raven (at least Lonan hopes it was a walnut).

walnut vs AC19: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (7) + 4 = 11

The Exchange

Seeing what the Mwangi is offering him, the monkey quickly downs the glass of wine. He then spends the next few minutes searching for more. He jumps off the shoulder of his latest benefactor and quickly starts sampling the variety of treats on the table.

The Exchange

"EEEP!!!" shrieks the monkey, as he jumps Kan-Jeh shoulder, being the largest and nearest Pathfinder to him. He tries to hide from the snake by putting the Mwangi man between himself and it.

The Exchange

The monkey jumps of the Varisian's shoulder, and starts running down the table, checking out the delicacies contained upon it.

The Exchange 4/5 5/5 ****

As the sword speaks, a monkey shows up from who knows where. He looks like he was going to beg for beer, but now has jumped over to Ardelaneu Zarathustra, and is very interested in the talking sword.

The Exchange

Hearing the sword speak, Gilligan climbs down the bard, and reaches for the sword's hilt... cautiously, as though it might bite. He looks to Gunari for a moment, and then up to Marzenek, and asks again, "Eep?"

The Exchange

A small monkey scurries into the room, jumping from table to chair to shoulder. He jumps onto Marzenek's shoulder, and looks down at the scabbard, as if waiting for the sword to do something. "Eep?" he asks, right before the door opens again.

The Exchange

acrobatics: 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (14) + 10 = 24
The monkey lands on its feet, and appears to be getting ready to reach back and produce some ammunition to throw at Denbora.

The Exchange

"EEEP!" the monkey says, as if this explained everything. He jumps up on the shoulder of the gnome and starts to dig through his gear.

The Exchange

The monkey makes his way around the bar, sampling drinks and food as he goes. Finally, he gets behind the bar, and is checking out the various bottles back there.

Squealy Nord digs around in the dirt for a while, so that he and Poog come up with a dozen truffles. Reta also comes up with one, as does Mogmurch. So, you have plenty to make your beloved truffle-cakes!

The team heads back to their cave.

The Exchange

The harpy is hit with Mogmurch's final bomb attack (that's four total bombs thrown in this combat, from my count. Did you use any in the challenges?)

The singing has stopped, and the goblins come to their senses. Squealy Nord looks at the goblins like he is going to gore them if they don't heal his master.

The Exchange

"SQUEEEE!!! SQUEEE SQUEE!!"

Squealy Nord stands over his goblin companion, snuffling at him, trying to get him awake.

perception: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (20) + 5 = 25
He pulls out a stick that he's seen Poog use before... and it isn't the one with the scorched tip, and looks up at Mogmurch.

The Exchange

"SQUEEEEEE! SQUEEE! SQUEEE!"
The little pig squeals in delight when Chuffy throws the truffles at him, greedily grabbing them, chewing, and swallowing.

It is at that time that Chuffy remembers that getting truffles for their favorite handcakes is why they were here in the first place.

1d4 ⇒ 3 truffles consumed already... one still available.

Poochie is on delay...

Dakang suddently shrugs, and wriggles out of the body he was inhabiting, causing it to fall to the floor.
2d6 + 3 ⇒ (3, 4) + 3 = 10
He turns on his copycat power once more and then steps back on the wall (5'), and casts a spell, turning invisible.

Party is up.

If it helps, it is UTC -5:00

I made an assumption on the 5'step
Dakang looks down on the party, snarls, takes a 5' step away from the air elemental, and tries to turn on his copycat ability once more.

Roudi, it looks like you were reloading with a paper cartridge, right? It was regular bullets that you soaked in the blessing water, as I recall (especially since soaking paper cartridges probably wouldn't make sense!)

Roudantaimi was waiting for this, and fires, but the bullet harmlessly bounces off of the demon's skin. Dakang then has his copycat up and ready. Finally, he casts a spell at Jeander. For a moment, terror rises up in the wayang's gullet, but he throws it off and is merely shaken.
Jaender: Will: 1d20 + 4 - 1 ⇒ (20) + 4 - 1 = 23

sense motive: 1d20 + 11 ⇒ (19) + 11 = 30

Dakang looks at Roudi, notes his stance, and ponders for a brief moment what he is going to do. Confident in his defenses (especially given Roudi's previous failures to hit) he starts casting.

Unfortunately for Roudantaimi, he fails to hit the demon, but does manage to destroy the duplicate. Dakang then casts inflict light wounds (as a spell-like ability) one more time, targeting Vox (who is casting), Strong Brute (who appears rather wounded), and Jaender (who actually hit him).

"Idiots! You think you can challenge Dakang? I, who have held sway over this temple for four hundred years, and have corrupted even the most devout followers of Korada?" He indicates the four zombies, who were obviously once aasimar, and are all wearing holy symbols of Korada. "I even hold the Staff of Korada, and have corrupted it to my use. You shall be no more than a minor setback to me, and once you are gone, I will have a new body, and new servants, and the mendicants that live at this temple shall accept my word over any lies you may have told about me!"

Once everyone is in place, an obese human man steps confidently to the podium on the high balcony in the chapel. He is draped in layers of cloth trimmed with small bells that jingle lightly as he moves. The man’s bald head is surrounded by a thin fringe of gray hair, but the lower half of his face is wrapped in a white silk scarf stitched with a line of unusual double-arrow symbols.

See tactical map for the symbol

He smiles, and then leads the assembled congregation in their devotions, which they repeat back to him.
"Light Combines
My Peace Find
Calm my Soul
To Control
Woes I sift
Catching Gifts"

Ht then looks out over the congregation, noticing the Slayers. "My fellow Believers of Korada, I welcome you. It is indeed another peaceful day here in the Temple of Empyreal Enlightenment. I see that today, we have visitors! Welcome, friends, and may the blessings of Korada be upon you all."

He then takes a deep breath, stretches, then continues.

"Vantian! The City of Open Windows! It is a city of peace. No crime, no heartache, no pain...just continued devotion to Korada. Indeed, Vantian is such a peaceful, blissful city that every day, portions of it fall into the sea - but the residents manage to rebuild without a second thought. Harmony, pleasantness, peace in all things - would that we could all take the path that Wei has chosen. I, myself, would have done it long ago were it not for my duties here. To all of you, though, I urge you - if you are considering such an act, please see me. Wei chose to take his own life, and he chose a painful method. I assure you all, suicide does not have to be such a grisly scene - the blessings of Korada have gifted me with means of achieving it painlessly, effortlessly and peacefully.

"Regardless of your decision, however, I would encourage you all to attempt the Kiss of Korada. I, myself, have taken it a number of times. I know that the price of failure is great, but for those who are true of mind, sound of body and aligned with Korada in every way, it is a wonderful experience and a true show of your faith. Remember - every failure should drive you to try harder. If you fail, do not despair! Simply see it as the opportunity that it is - an opportunity to improve yourself, to focus on the true teachings of Korada and to try again soon. And, if you do happen to fail the final time, as Wei did, you should truly consider the advantages of leaving this realm of despair and traveling onward to a land of glory.

"As we leave today, please take a moment to assume the symbols of celestial silence and contemplation."

The worshipers produce vials of ink and begin marking each other’s faces with double-arrow symbols above and below the eyes and above and below the mouth. The worshipers attempt to do this in reverent silence. They gesture to the Pathfinders, offering to decorate their mouths and eyes as well.

"May the Peace of Korada be upon you!" he says before he turns and leaves.
