Starfinder rounds down, and L bulk does not count until it equals 1 full bulk. Ysoki can fit 19 grenades in their mouth. It isn't even remotely unreasonable to fit them in 1 cubic foot either.
Per the bulk rules on P. 167, a 5-10 pound item is 1 bulk, and every ten pounds added to the weight increases bulk by 1. A normal Ysoki would be 6-10 bulk before gear, unless the GM decides a large humanoid rat is awkward or unwieldy, in which case their bulk could be higher.
I expect Starfinder (or otherwise futuristic) grenades to be smaller than modern grenades.

I agree with Drejk. There is no reason a grenade can't be 2in across and 1/2in tall.
Of course, at that size a cubic foot or 1728 cubic inches would hold over 1000 grenades.
Or assume each is a square. 6 grenade by 6 grenade per layer. 24 layers per foot cube. Still an obscene number, 864 grenades.
Let's go with 10 and remember if you hit the Ysoki in the mouth all his friends die too!!!
I think part of the cheek pouch issue is people expecting the cheek pouches to be stealthy. Hamsters can triple the size of their head by filling their pouches, so I see no problems with the ysoki and 19 grenades. Everyone's going to notice though.

It's also that people are reading the ability to transfer an item between hand to cheek pouch as a swift action and interpreting that as the ability to transfer a SPECIFIC item from cheek pouch to hand as a swift action, which is not the same thing.
As I understand it, you can quickly stow the stuff in there, but getting the right thing OUT again isn't any easier than any other sort of stowage.
Mine keeps his waterproof com unit in his mouth. The look on the other players face when his face lit up and started making noise was priceless. Best race power by far!
Might not even need this to be waterproof. Hamsters get away with cheek pouches not being moldy because they don't salivate.

HAHA very much this. I saw a hamster stick a full klenex box worth of tissues in his cheek pouches. It all fit but it was by no means concealed. His head looked hilariously huge.

Have you never seen a chipmunk? They can stuff something nearly the size of their whole head into each cheek. I assume Ysoki are similar.
A better question: who exactly is buying 10 grenades? They're so prohibitively expensive that the only worthwhile ones are Smoke Grenades, and I'd say you'd only need about 6 of those tops at a time (the number that can be loaded into the basic grenade launcher; if you don't have one of those, you'd probably have fewer -- and no, you can't fit the launcher, it's 2 Bulk).
My mechanic friend's doing looted pistols...
To a ysoki with a mouthfull of smoke grenades: Dude, you shouldn't smoke. It's bad for your health.

I like the idea of racial tactical feats that rely on race traits to function correctly, like an ysoki feat to get a pot shot during an acrobatics check since you can never suffer from being off-kilter, or to ignore a portion of an enemy's AC by moving through their square if they're larger than you by targeting their voonrables as you go.

They already overlapped at "Small sized creature" and "tail." Now we just need Paizo to make them overlap at "in outer space."
