If you want to imbibe extracts faster, you want the combine extract discovery (two extracts for the action economy of one, albeit at a higher extract "spell" level), the touch injection extract and poisoner's gloves (man, that goes to shenanigan levels if you find a way to have a familiar touch you).

Yup, monkey familiar with the poisoner's gloves is the way to go. Gives you 2 'free action' extracts per day.
Also, if you don't want to burn the feat or the higher slots, you can get a magic item, admixture vial, that lets you combine extracts.

Is there any way to drink an extract as a swift action? Even if it's just 1/day or something.
The Potion Glutton Feat says that you can. But that has been changed for the Pathfinder Society campaign, but not for others. And since we are talking about Magic Item Crafting, we are not talking about PFS. So ask your GM.

I was thinking cast Touch Injection on my Crab Familiar for a similar effect.

If an Alchemist has the Infusion Discovery, can he make potions of personal range formulae?
I'm trying to get a Sipping Jacket to work with my extracts, and making them into potions is the only way I can think of.
No.
There is no such restriction on making Elixirs, though. Elixirs are Wondrous Items. For an Alchemist to take Craft Wondrous Item, he'd have to take Master Craftsman first.
