Meeting Channelling Prerequisites & Monk Weapons

Rules Questions

1) Do classes like the paladin that get "channel positive energy" qualify for feats that require the channel energy class feature like crusader's flurry and guided hand?

2) Does a life oracle's Channel ability count as channel energy for crusader's flurry and guided hand?

3) Aside from Crusader's Flurry, is there a way to treat a weapon as a monk weapon? (mainly for the purpose of using it with ascetic style)

1) Yes, but not until the level they get that feature at, which is 4th for a paladin.

2) I believe so.

3) I think so, but can't remember what it is.

In regard to question 3, Ive just realised that ascetic requires it to be from the monk weapon group, not just a weapon with the monk property. So that makes it unlikely there will be something.

Scarab Sages

The easiest way to qualify for crusaders flurry is a one level dip into crusader cleric. This will give you both channel and the required weapon focus in the weapon.

however, ascetic style is limited to the monk weapon group, not weapons that you treat as having the monk weapon property.

What exactly were you trying to do? There may be other options for flurry or damage enhancement for the desired weapon.

Imbicatus has it right, the 1 level dip is the way to go. For instance, Crusader cleric 1/Scaled fist monk plus crusader flurry & Desna’s Shooting Star = monk using Cha for attack/damage/AC/CMD! Two feats but means you've got less stats to worry about. [plus it doesn't hurt that you can use cleric items]

Silver Crusade

Note that you have to take your cleric level after you've already got a base attack of at least +1 for this. The Crusader cleric archetype does not give you Weapon Focus without the base attack prerequisite, it only exempts you from prerequisites based on class and level. I learned this whilst making a monk/cleric crusader flurry user.

I don't know why this weapon isn't brought up more.
You won't even need Ascetic style for anything except style strikes

It's not a monk weapon, it just counts directly as your unarmed strikes.
