Is D20PFSRD going to be fully functional any time soon?

Pathfinder First Edition General Discussion

As the the title asks; does anyone know if the D20 site will be functional any time soon? It's still missing content and the link to the old site is gone as far as I can tell.

Only if they can find a way to be profitable. If you want to see them able to support the traffic and keep up to date with content, I suggest you donate funds.

So the site migration was due to a lack of funds?

Grand Lodge

No idea, but given the requests for funds, I wouldn't be surprised.

We're still working on fixing anything not currently working. This change was done to address the every weekend "Pageview Limit Reached" errors, as well as get onto a system which will allow massively cool new features which weren't possible before.

Given how integral the website is to running my games, I've chosen to support the site on their Patreon with a small monthly donation. I encourage other people to do the same.

Appreciate it! The site is super-convenient when running games, and the shutdowns slowed things down. I heard that one of the massively cool new features is filtering on publisher, which will save a lot of trouble.

The messages about the migration have stopped, so I assumed it's done.

I hope this site does well. We currently have 3 online sources for Pathfinder game data (the PRD, the Archives of Nethys, and d20pfsrd). Of the three, d20pfsrd is the only one that is even close to being up to date.

Not only that, the sheer bulk of info from canon to 3PP is amazing. There's so many options there, it can get overwhelming LOL.

It seems to be working now, at least. I played around with it for a couple hours last night and everything seemed to be working fine.

A bunch of the links, even the ones you search for, are messed up. Clicking on anything with "Heal" in it, skill, use of that skill, anything else, will take you to the Heal spell.

Hmm, I'll give that a try. Did you try the Google or SRD search button or both? I didn't look up very many spells, spent most of the time looking up monsters and classes. Thanks for the info.

Silver Crusade

Google, and np.

I used both and got all the Heal spells that I could find listed in the Magic section. I guess they fixed the bug.

Silver Crusade

Finding the spell isn't the problem, it's trying to find or go to the page of anything that isn't the spell, like the heal skill.

Ah, gotcha. Thanks.

Dark Archive

The link for Weapon Finesse after searching either Google or SRD brings up Error 301 Moved Permanently error.

I'm sure further improvements will happen. That's a massive amount of data to migrate to a new system, so there will be wrinkles to iron out.

(and yes, I provide through Patron to the author in support for this site)

The old site is mirrored at pathfindersrd.com. However, all of the links go to the new site, so you need to manually edit the urls.

I'm a Patreon supporter, as well. I think if everyone is patient the bugs will be removed pretty soon. d20pfsrd.com is my go-to site for instant info on gaming material during game nights. I keep a lap top with 4 to 6 tabs open for different aspects of the site so I can quickly look up a rule, condition, spell, etc. It's a lot faster than digging through a book or even a .pdf (at least it is for me). But I'm confident all the problems will be worked out soon.

old site is still at https://sites.google.com/site/pathfinderogc/ - all links except searches point to pages on that site

John if there is a better place to drop info on noticed bugs let me know but the Kineticist page has a huge gap between the front text and the chart.
