One other thing I've noticed is that, while the book says that it might have mythic and occult support as stretch goals, there's no mention of any of the Intrigue rules, despite how much of a natural fit those seem to be.
To what extent (if any) will those be utilized in TBoP?
As much as possible. :p
The current version of the book makes no mention of anything from Ultimate Intrigue because it was written (and submitted for editing, which takes a while) before the release of Ultimate Intrigue.
However, in the year the book has been processing through all the stuff needed to reach this point, I ran a game that used all the rules from the Book of Passion in conjunction with the rules from Ultimate Intrigue and they fit together very well.
In fact, I already have a ton of ideas and playtest data about incorporating the Book of Passion with the rules for Influence (one of my favorite and most used sections of Ultimate Intrigue).
And, of course, we have a number of ideas about archetypes for the Vigilante. In fact, I prepared a Passionate Vigilante NPC for a game I'm currently running just yesterday. That is, I created the NPC yesterday - I'll be running this weekend.

Ref Occult: I just added a new tier over on the KS.
Phantom Lover $300
Print color book of The Book of Passion, plus PDF copies of the book and PDF copies of any stretch goals. Early access to the book's unedited files. Shipping extra.
For author credit, write an occult archetype with our authors, and create an iconic with that archetype. If the occult section does not reach funding, this will be published in a later product.
I'm sure there could be a similar one for Intrigue: Intriguing Lover?

Hmm for those in relationships where size difference is an "issue" and shrink/enlarge person won't cut it/doesn't work/isn't actually wanted is there a spell that lets a person be more accommodating (and safer) at receiving large packages (no cartoonish stretching/ballooning though plz)?
The ramifications of such a spell I guess would depend on if you cast it on the penetrator or receiver I guess.

So if I upgrade to the Intriguing Lover...I get only one iconic Correct?
I got a couple of character/ ideas warring in my head...
Yes - you would get to create an archetype and an iconic of that archetype.
If you wanted two characters, you'd likely need to do the whole two-account thing.
Or... I suppose if one contacted Christina ahead of time, it might be possible to work out a case-by-case "iconic add-on". I don't know any of the financial stuff, so that would be all her decision. I'm just just thinking that if we have two people who want to do two "creator" levels then it might be easier to use one account and "add on" extra ones.

I'm going to get my medusa witch in the book somewhere, too.As a backer at the iconic level, are unusual races welcome? Not otyugh unusual, but outside the core 7. I am kicking around a few ideas and want to know the approximate limit.
Don't think I replied to this, but please do consider races outside the core ones. I want a wide representation.

I'm going to add a God/Goddess of Love & Lust level that allows you to do more than one. It will give you the option of pitching something to us, as well. It will be like the $300 levels with MORE. Up to 4 prints, too. In addition, the book will be dedicated to you.

New Tier:
God or Goddess of Love and Lust
Print color book of The Book of Passion, plus PDF copies of the book and PDF copies of any stretch goals. Early access to the book's unedited files. Shipping extra.
For author credit, you can write multiple iconics or monsters or archetypes with our authors (any combination), and create an iconic with that archetype. If the Bestiary does not reach funding, this will be published in a later product. Receive four signed artist prints of your characters/monsters. Your entries will need to be approved by the project's developer.
Additionally, the Book of Passion will be dedicated to you. You may also pitch Christina something for this book that will be a paid freelance work if accepted.
A changed tier (limit 2):
Passion's Apprentice
All the rewards of the God/Goddess of Love and Lust. Plus, for a year from the ending date of the project, a Passion's Apprentice gains one-on-one email and Skype access to Christina Stiles and Robert H. Hudson, Jr. Please note that Christina teaches a class on writing tabletop roleplaying games at Winthrop University, where students pay almost $1800 for four-month access to her knowledge and feedback, so this is a bargain!
The two will teach you the ropes of writing gaming material. Give you and allow you to directly pitch material to us. Former apprentices like Rich Howard (best known for his 5e work) have gone on to start strong freelancing careers.
If we like your work, we'll also give you opportunities to write for our upcoming products, many of which will be kickstarted in the near future.
Shipping for any print products is included in this pledge.

On a more serious note while I saw the updates for Passion's Apprentice and I'm heavily tempted (and the tier was enticing to begin with) I don't know if I could use the chance correctly, I tend to, well, squander similar chances and opportunities. When I backed Southlands I got the option to come up with 3 or 4 monsters, and plenty of time to work out something, but was only able to produce one in the end.
I'll think on it. I don't want to take someone else's opportunity away from them.

I have been considering the Apprentice spot as well. I want to actually write a campaign setting book and then any supplemental material that people would like.
Honestly, getting an RPG thing published is more of a 'bucket list' thing so even if I didn't make a dime out of it, it would still be worth it.
Christina, what would you think about that?

Hmm, I have to admit that the lack of detail on the Kickstarter's description made me a little uncertain initially, but the information in this thread, as well as the preview paladin's code, definitely makes me more confident about backing this product.
I'm particularly looking forward to seeing what kind of spells or magic items might be found in here...I know I'd like to see a spell somewhere between mirror hideaway/rope trick and mage's magnificent mansion for an extradimensional bedroom with some furnishings...at least a few beds included. Also...do you think a spell along these lines might be something appropriate for this book?
School transmutation (polymorph); Level alchemist 1, bard 1, medium 1, mesmerist 1, occultist 1, psychic 1, sorcerer/wizard 1, witch 1
Casting Time 1 standard action
Components V, S
Range touch
Target creature touched
Duration 1 hour/level
Saving Throw Fort negates; Spell Resistance yes
You polymorph your target to look like a more masculine or feminine version of itself. You select how masculine or feminine. You can't otherwise change the target's appearance other than those details directly associated with masculinity or femininity (for example, a target's chin might become more masculine or the target might develop wider hips). This spell can make someone appear androgynous (in which case the target does not take a penalty on Disguise checks to disguise themselves as a different gender), feminine, or masculine. A target that has been polymorphed into a feminine or masculine version of themselves does not need to make Disguise checks to appear as a female or male, respectively, but must make a Disguise check to appear as a male or a female, respectively, complete with the usual penalty, regardless of their actual sex. They must still make a Disguise check to appear as anything other than a masculine or feminine version of themselves.
This spell doesn't affect or cause any sex-based modifications to ability scores or other sex-related effects due to sexual dimorphism. Members of a race that only has a single sex may or may not be affected by this spell at the GM's discretion.
If it's not obvious, I'm a fan of Arshea, so! Of course, if not, that's fine, just something I'd kind of like to see. I also like Lymnieris, and while I know you can't directly reference existing empyreal lords, I hope there will be some material that works well for followers of both these empyreal lords, as well as the new one you've teased the existence of.

I really wish I could pledge at this level...I just don't have the money though...:(

Christina, what would you think about that?
Campaign books are a hard sell, but Misfit Studios did SpirosBlaak, and I have a publication called Ravensberg that I an working on publishing via Christina Stiles Presents that my WRIT311 class (Writing Narrative for Tabletop Roleplaying Games) at Winthrop University wrote last spring (if you friend me on Facebook, you'll see some art postings and character postings from that). I am also looking at a campaing world from a published author team in the near future.
So, it's something I am willing to consider publishing. But either way, Robert and I are willing to help you along, if you want to be an apprentice. The point is to show a person how to reach his or her goals. As I said, Rich Howard went on to do things that he has enjoyed. Morgan Boehringer was another apprentice. He's now producing the Yggdrasil Midgard fan magazine. He's got a supplement coming up with Strange Brew, too.
So, we'd love to have you if you want to pledge!

I can't pledge any more, but I am torn between passionate and beastly lover.
I can't help you on that choice. :) It depends on what interests you the most.
You can always help us find 13 $1 backers, though, to open up Margherita's freebie! Jacob did a great job on drawing the witch's sex scene. He said the witch's bottom was one of his best-drawn butts. It's a damn sexy scene. :)

No, actually. We tried not to reinvent the wheel, and all of the spells you just mentioned make wonderful temporary bedrooms without any need for alteration. We didn't want to bog spellcasters down with spells that did things that were already available.
Also...do you think a spell along these lines might be something appropriate for this book?
** spoiler omitted **...
We do have some information on magical gender alteration. However, again, thanks to some of the stuff included in recent Paizo publications, there is already a fair amount of stuff in the SRD that takes care of that.
We do have a section that talks about already existing spells and how they can be used to do "off label" things.
So we don't have a spell like the one you describe because Alter Self already takes care of gender alteration.
On that topic, Floating Disk (when combined with some mundane blankets and pillows) makes a handy summonable bed.
